No Protections Against Covid-19
Jun 23rd, 2020
We chose this hotel as we were assured they had protective measures against Covid-19. Aside from a partition at the front desk, there were none. Also, keep in mind the receptionist has to breach the partition to complete the check in process. I asked why no one was wearing masks and was told employees were supposed to, but even when the front desk person changed our room due to a leaking toilet there was no mask or effort to social distance when they came to assist (which made the situation pretty uncomfortable while we were working to maintain a 6 foot distance). Not a single employee wearing masks, no evidence of encouraging social distancing (employees in elevators with guests where social distancing is impossible), no encouragement of guests wearing masks in public areas or social distancing in public areas. While there was a takeout breakfast, the area where the breakfast was was located was busy with travelers who were not distancing or wearing masks. I understand the hotel cannot control guests (nor should it), but there could be signs promoting safety measures, such as "one party at a time in the elevator," and "please maintain 6 feet when in the common areas." At the very least the staff could be taking measures to protect themselves and the guests. Additionally, there was no cleaning or disinfecting of commonly shared object such as pens or countertops. It is obvious the hotel is not taking their employees or guests health seriously and I do not recommend staying at this hotel while this is the case. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
One night stop

Beautiful! Very clean, very friendly staff, very nice accommodations, comfortable bed, fantastic pillows, nice linens, pleasing decor. You will feel comfortable here! Our room felt like a small suite with 2 Queens and separate living area with couch and desk. Huge closet was a bonus! A/C worked like a champ. Bathroom was freshly updated, clean and had a separate water closet which is super nice when traveling with family. Indoor Pool. Because of COVID regulations breakfast was “cold” and consisted of a grab-&-go sack with bagel, muffin, granola bar, & options to add a cereal, carton of milk, yogurt and an apple. Definitely glad to have something! :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Spacious, modern room but not a fan of bathroom set-up.

This hotel is nearly new, and we loved the room space, including the trundle under the sofa. I personally did not like the bathroom set-up, although having the shower and toilet area in separate rooms is good for some families or small groups. The sliding doors denies a real sense of privacy. The pool heater was still not working when we were there, and the pool was quite chilly. This should have been fixed, but it was right after New Year's when we were there. The breakfast was okay. Customer service was very good, and it usually is comfortable and a good feeling to stay in a new place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed here on our way to Florida. Nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The breakfast was anything from make your own waffles to apples that were wrapped in saran wrap. Traveling with my health inspector sister I know that is how they are supposed to be served. The pool heater was broke so my grandson didn't get to enjoy the pool. Nice sized pool though.
