Overall decent stay
Oct 16th, 2020
I was only here for 1 night, but i was relatively satisfied. There was no recognition of my titanium status but there isn't much difference at SPS anyway. The parking was convenient in an attached garage, but was a little on the pricey side for not being in the center of town. The ability to utilize LA Fitness next door was a plus. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Not recommending hotel due to construction
Sep 8th, 2020
Installations are ok. Also, room cleaning is only once a week. There is construction which starts at 5am with a lot of noise making it difficult to sleep. If you are a light sleeper like me its a hotel to avoid due to construction and lack of frequent cleaning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Loved the room, not the service
Jul 27th, 2020
I always liked Marriott hotels, which is why I was unpleasantly surprised by my recent experience. First, there’s no mention of advanced construction all around the hotel, which starts with banging something metal at 7:30 am. Every morning. 2nd, there’s no mention that their promised “hot breakfast” consists of a paper bowl, a spoon, and a packet of Quaker instant oatmeal. Even though there’s a Starbucks and Panera Bread right next to it. In my opinion, it’s better to have nothing than this. No milk either, I asked. Our 1st day, we were given the wrong directions on where to park and no mention of how to enter the hotel from the parking garage. Tip: you have to park near East elevator, 4 th floor, take it to 2nd floor - that’s the entrance and the carts. Which we didn’t know, so had to drag our things outside around the whole garage building. Oh, and the entrance to the garage gets closed for construction without notice, so have to go around the building for the other entrance. Yes, I know they can’t control construction and it’s Covid-19 everywhere- just explain that on the website!.. I checked several times, nothing. One clerk told me I should have called them. And ask what? Do you have construction around?.. The only reason I gave 3 stars and not 1 is because the suite is beautiful, loved the design, separate bathroom and plentiful outlets specifically. Thank you for that. Too bad the service sucks... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great location and spotless hotel

This hotel is super nice, clerks are friendly and helpful. Loved it here in the week just before Thanksgiving. Nice location too, easy to get to the parts of Pittsburgh we needed to visit relatives. I would stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect location for me to visit nearby family
Jan 8th, 2020
The location for me is ideal because my adult children live nearby. The front desk staff - particularly one fellow who's name escapes me and who was on later evening - is exceptional. Friendly. Willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are clean. Even housekeeping was friendly. My only complaint this trip was the TV remote in my room was nearly impossible to use - so I read a book instead of plugging in the Netflix password stuff. And because I was on vacation - not business - I came down both mornings 30 minutes before the end of breakfast. No dark coffee left. Two days of bananas that really looked like they would be better as compost and VERY watery oatmeal. So I walked over to Panera's - which is just outside the door and bought breakfast. But for what I need this place for, it is a fit for me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
