Terrible, Worst hotel we have every stayed at.

Feb 24th, 2020

I rarely leave reviews but this hotel was so terrible i feel like others should know. I always read reviews before booking at a hotel and for the most part the reviews were good. Not the case with our stay. The customer service was terrible and almost the entire staff we encountered during our stay was terribly rude, especially front desk clerk Karen. If you are traveling with kids I would highly suggest you stay somewhere else if you plan on utilizing the pool/hot tub. The hot tub has max capacity of 5 people. There is a sign posted but its hidden behind the chair lift and isn't super noticeable. Karen came in and made it clear to everyone that there was to be no more than 5 people at a time and no longer than 15 minutes at a time (we had 6, 3 sitting inside and 3 with there legs only) and said angrily that now they were going to have to close down the hot tub due all the lotions etc from everyone. She said they chemicals in the hot tub aren't able to work properly when there are more than 5 people. They have a security guard that walks the premises which I appreciated, until he pulled out his cell phone and was recording our children when they were down in the main area of the hotel (this happened every night we were there). They have security cameras throughout the hotel so I'm not sure why he felt the need to use his own personal phone to record my children. I had to call for maintenance 3x during our stay for a toilet that wouldn't flush. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the conversations in the rooms on each side of us. And lastly, the last morning we were there we went down for breakfast and thought we would be fine going down 15 minutes before they closed it down but they had already started turning things off and putting food away. The lady that ran it watched me as I put a bagel in the toaster which she had already unplugged and let me sit there for 10 minutes waiting for it to toast until I saw it was unplugged. She then came up to me and said the toaster wasn't working and I told her it didn't work because she had unplugged it. She didn't say a word and just walked away. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed for a week as my base for a ski trip with the family. Hotel staff was freindly and very accomodating. The breakfast was very good and the added extra was the new lounge area that you can grab a cocktail in the eveneing. Enjoyed our stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location for downtown activities!

Jan 3rd, 2020

Great location, friendly staff and easy checkin. My only suggestion is, on the side parking lot exit on 600S PLEASE put up a no left hand turn or a one way street sign. We were unfamiliar with the one way street and turned head on into 6 lanes of oncoming traffic. We were ok and no others hurt but a sign will be great! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family Christmas Ski Trip

Dec 27th, 2019

Four of us stayed there while skiing at Alta/Snowbird. About 30 min drive (sans heavy traffic) from parking lot to parking lot. Great location near lots of shops and local restaurants. Westminster College just down the street. NordstromRack in same parking lot. Cinemark Theatres also. Workout room, pool, hottub, free breakfast, laundry facilities, sheltered parking, charging stations for e-cars, 3 nice pillows per bed, plus a futon-type trundle bed near microwave/fridge area of each room. Large, clean lobby with convenience area and lots of tables. Elevators clean, fast, and new. Only issue was when we first arrived, it appeared the maids had forgotten to replenish our hand soap and lotion, or to wipe our bathroom vanity and floor. We notified the front desk and it was immediately rectified. I like it that they recycle and make it easy for guests to do so as well by having receptacles in the rooms. I’d stay there again, for sure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
