Central and Comfortable

Feb 20th, 2020

I chose this hotel mainly due to the nightly price and location near downtown. Getting here was ok via freeway but a bit confusing once in the city streets. I turned right into a garage where I saw the Springhill Suites but I should have taken the Next right turn. I believe the garage could have led me to the hotel but it was separate. Check in was quick and my room was a little dark but comfortable. A sofa, desk, bed and microwave with refrigerator rounded out the contents. The showers was an older style with Not much water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was quite typical with scrambled eggs, cereals, bagels, yogurt, etc. Parking was extra but my room rate included it for only $2 more per night instead of $9 so that was a good deal. There was a nearby shopping and restaurant area with Starbucks, seafood and Mexican food. 20 minutes from here was downtown Fort Worth. This was an older (but remodeled) hotel so I will likely stay elsewhere during my next visit to the area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

a little hard to find, but a nice hotel to stay at.

Nov 25th, 2019

I stayed at this location near TCU and the Old University Shopping Center and enjoyed it. It is a small, quiet property with a helpful staff. Parking is paid unless you have a rate that includes this amenity. Coming off the I30 freeway, Vickery St is easy to miss, as it looks like the service Road at exit 12A. Once you see the Vickery St for the first time, it works out! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beware of theft from your room!

Oct 15th, 2019

Stayed here October 11-15 on business. Hundreds of dollars of brand new Deluth Trading company purchases new with tags still in the deluth shopping bag were stollen from my room. Hotel did NOTHING about this but had the desk clerk refer us to Marriott customer care. Manager and assistant manager were never available. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK AND EXPECT TO HAVE THINGS STOLLEN IF YOU DO. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pleasant, Conveniently Located Hotel

Sep 6th, 2019

We tend to book this hotel each time we visit Fort Worth and the Kimbell Museum. It is one of the older hotels in town but is well maintained and clean. The rooms are fairly spacious and include refrigerator and microwave. The front desk staff were all friendly and competent. The breakfast offerings provide a plentiful choice and kudos to the lovely and efficient attendant who makes sure everything meets expectations. A good value place to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
