Overnight Pre-Cruise

Sep 22nd, 2019

Stayed here one night pre-cruise. Older building but clean rooms and friendly staff. Nice complimentary breakfast. Short walk to Inner Harbor/National Aquarium. A little longer walk or a short Uber drive to Fells Point. We used valet but there are public garages around. I took a star off because it was way too expensive but all the hotels were the weekend we were in town, likely due to the Ravens home game. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Overnight trip with grandchildren

Sep 7th, 2019

80% clean, very friendly desk staff, comfortable , I would look for a more updated property when I return for my next visit to the aquarium with my grandchildren. I love luxury hotels. But, if you are looking for basics this is ok. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Only one elevator working out of 3 - not great for people with disabilities

Sep 3rd, 2019

The hotel would have been ok otherwise, the price was right and so was the location, but the elevator is a show stopper. Also, the fire stairs are extremely dangerous in my opinion. They only go one floor down, you have to re-enter each floor to go down to the next (we know this because he had to try the stairs down from the 10th floor, having waited long enough for the elevator). I will be picking another option next time I am in Baltimore. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It you are looking for historic this is it, as it was a bank. However my loyalty didn't seem to matter, as I did online check in but still had to wait 20 min for my room. Also my living room carpet was dirty, as it had a half vacuum job. The common area carpets were in rough shape as well. Breakfast needed an upgrade, I have been to Springhill's before and the breakfast had options for eggs, and a nice assortment of pastries. This Springhill was missing that, however having breakfast included was a good value. Valet was quick and easy, which I appreciated. Just shine the penny a little better on this property. 2 bedroom suite

Aug 31st, 2019

We stayed in a two bedroom suite on the 11th floor. We had to take the elevator to the 10th floor then walk up a flight of steps with our luggage to the 11th floor. The room had an awkward layout. There are no doors to separate the two bedrooms. The sink in the second bathroom did not have a door for privacy. The room felt dark. There were two small windows that felt like a jail so don't expect a view! The hotel was clean and the customer service was top notch. The breakfast was plenty with a nice spread. I would not stay again because of the lack of privacy and having to haul luggage up the stairs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
