Lots of issues with the Elevators and had to use the stairs a few times.. They gave us a very uneasy feeling with weird noises .. they definitely did not feel or sound safe. Our suite was just OK. Netflix access in the room was a plus though but I do question the cleanliness of this place!! Also this was our view from the 11th floor which of course is not advertised when booking! YIKES. The location was good but that's about all I can say that is not double-sided. For example, the room itself was ok but the configuration was weird and there were some damages that hadn't been repaired. The elevator smelled like someone had a smoking party in there. Terrible Customer Service!

This hotel must be trying very hard to save money. The main lobby and rest of teh first floor was freezing (front desk person was wearing a winter coat)and very dark. The hallways upstairs don't seem to be heated. The shared areas are a bit rundown. The room could have been nice but they put us in a handicapped room without telling us. My main complaint was the room was EXTREMELY dark and the phone did not work. One skimpy desk lamp that was inadequate to do any work at the desk. The other bulbs were very low voltage and only one small spotlight in the front area - couldn't even see in the closet. The big issue was I called the front desk and requested another lamp[ so I could do some work. I informed them of the issue of the phone and was told it those items may not be able to be addressed but she would contact the folks to see. She then called me (on my cell phone) and told me there are no other phones nor other lamps in the entire hotel that I can use! Even though we had already unpacked she said I could change rooms but there were limited rooms as some were having the carpets cleaned. I asked "why can't they take a lamp out of one of the rooms being cleaned?". Apparently the "Engineer" was not willing to move one and came to my room to tell me that only he could arrange for another lamp and, again, that there were no lamps that could be brought in for me to use for one night. He only offered to take a shade off the one standing lamp in the room. We had to argue back and forth before he agreed to bring a lamp. Should a paying guest have to go through all that for a lamp in a totally inadequately lit room? The front desk woman was totally intimidated by the "Engineer". when we checked out the front desk person apologized and said she would try to get us some additional points for our troubles - but that did not happen. There are plenty of other hotels in the area - don't waste your time here! The parking folks were very helpful and courteous. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Old and noisy hotel - NO hairdryer!

This is a very old hotel. Room is quite shabby (but good size), Convenient to the M&T stadium and convention center. Check in was just OK a bit slow. Very noisy as there is a nightclub next door. The worst was that there was NO hairdryer in the room! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Graduation Weekend SuperStay

I booked this location online for our daughter's graduation in Baltimore. It was surprisingly quaint, housed in an historic building that survived Baltimore Fires at the turn of the century and still has the vault from it's days a s a bank. Our two-bedroom suite, located on the top floor even had a skylight and offered spacious accommodations and two bathrooms. The staff was incredible, attentive and personable. Best of all we were 5 minute from Royal Farms arena where the ceremony would take place and 8 miles from BWI. We were able to order food delivery after hours and take advantage of the complimentary breakfast for a quick start. Will definitely be back if my travels take me to Baltimore! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
