State House Inn

The guest rooms at the pet-friendly State House Inn feature flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, work desks and irons and ironing boards, plus some rooms also come with microwaves and minifridges. Currently undergoing renovations, the property also features a fitness room, a business center, meeting rooms and a complimentary hot continental breakfast. There is also free coffee and tea in the lobby, along with a snack center. The hotel is located near attractions, shops and restaurants in downtown Springfield, Illinois. It is a short walk to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum and the Old State Capitol. Some recent guests said the rooms were old and came with unpleasant stains, while other guests said the customer service was helpful and friendly.  This hotel is also a member of the Red Roof Inn brand.
