Outbreak Hotel (COVID)
Sep 6th, 2020
Although the hotel is clean, service great and pet-friendly, this place is not a safe hotel. Once getting past the receptionist and signs stating that masks and social distancing is required, hoards of people are huddled together breathing on each other with no masks. Of greatest concern is getting on the tiny elevator with 8 maskless people. We are hiking up and down the stairway (wife with has a bad knee) to avoid these smart guests and inability of the hotel to maintain healthy control over them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
If you believe in COVID avoid.

This hotel should be considered a public health hazard. Took 45 minutes to check in due to outdated technology (“sorry, my computer is SO slow”) and only one front desk employee. Lobby is very tight, and there were 8 parties crammed in shoulder to shoulder. Only one elevator in the bank of two was operational causing long lines. They are still operating their indoor pool and buffet! Mask wearing is not enforced. Room not clean. Just avoid if possible. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is a pretty decent hotel. It’s not a five star place but that’s not what kind of hotel this is. Bed was comfortable, room was reasonably clean. The front desk area was uncomfortably close during COVID-19 but that’s not their fault. Just keep that in mind when checking in. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
walking distance from everything!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with our stay at Staybridge! The location is easy to find as it is directly across from the convention center. The surrounding streets were not slammed with traffic so it was always easy to load/unload our vehicle. Parking is gated and adjacent to the hotel for a daily fee. (Each vehicle requires a tag for the rearview mirror.) Breakfast is included and they have a feature that changes every few days. They have a good variety of food choices and everything is frequently restocked. There's also a happy hour Monday- Wednesday. (So, if you're looking for an extended stay hotel, this is an excellent choice. They even have storage closets you can use!) Our room had so much space! We had a full size refrigerator, microwave, two burner stove, and sink complete with all the needed dishes and utensils. Also a den with couch, chair, desk and desk chair, tv, and ottomans. The bathroom sink area and closet were perfect along with the added laundry basket. Our furniture was a little old but we also had a dog room so I can completely understand that. Random people off the street seemed to come in for the free coffee. (Which was strange but whatever.) The fireplace was always warm so we enjoyed that. Also got to spend some time in the pool, hot tub, and fitness center. If you're looking for a great, pet-friendly, hotel that is within walking distance of excellent restaurants and breweries, this is your place to go! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great stay in Chattanooga

We were very happy with our one room suite. Pros: everything was clean (including plate, glasses, etc. - often glasses in hotels are dirty), good breakfast, nice pool, loved the J.R. Watkins products in the bathroom, comfy bed, easy parking, convenient location, pretty quiet though they were busy. Cons: tiny towels provided at the pool (like hand towels), fridge in room didn’t work though the freezer did. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
