Very Disappointed

So, this is our second day and already posting a poor review of this hotel. At the time I made this reservation I requested a first floor room due to medical reasons. At the time of check-in we were told that there weren’t any first floor rooms available even though they knew of the request and had it noted in my reservation. Secondly, I gave them my IHG® rewards number and was told that the information would be reflected and found out today it was not when I called to complain about a hot water issue at the hotel. We do not have hot water in our room and spoke to a manager last night and was told that they are aware of the situation at the hotel and had other complaints from other guests. We were told that the general manager would be in today and the information would be relayed and addressed. My husband stopped at the hotel desk this morning to find out what the status was of resolving the hot water issue and he was told that there was nothing reported they did not have any issues from us or other guests. He was also told that due to the location of our room compared to where the water pumps are located there was not much that could be done to resolve the hot water issue. I find it very concerning that a hotel can be built and not provide hot water to all of the hotel rooms. I’ve already contacted the corporate phone number we were provided. I was told that Amber from the hotel would be contacting me today to let me know what resolution would be provided. Unfortunately, we’ve already spoken to the hotel management on more than one occasion in one day and I do not hold much hope to have this issue resolved. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location

The StayBridge was located near the shopping area(Ross, SAMS, WalMart, Dillards, Lane Bryant) and close some great eating establishments (Red Lobster, Fridays, Longhorns, Buffalo Wild Wings). The hotel was very clean and the staff were super nice. The breakfast was good. One morning they served waffles and chicken. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awful Management and Poor Treatment of Military

My family is in town for a Ranger School graduation and booked a room for Wednesday-Friday night. In the middle of our 5 hour drive, we were told the hotel overbooked and had no room for us on Wednesday night. The hotel representative was not concerned that we had no where to stay for the night. Luckily found a room for Wednesday, but then we were told on Thursday that we only had 1 room out of the 2 that were booked. We have 6 people so that was not acceptable. Again, the hotel representative did not seem to care that mistakes had been made. We were told we would be upgraded to a larger suite to accommodate 6 people, but then went to check in and they said we were never told that. We were then told that we could have a suite with two rooms with two beds each plus a pullout couch and when we got to the room there were only 3 beds instead of 4. It is sad that a company has to lie to make money. The hotel is so poorly managed and it is obvious that employees nor managers care. This is no way to treat anyone, but especially not a military family. Employees are poorly trained and managers could not care less. The only person who attempted to help at all was the woman running the front desk on Thursday afternoon. She was obviously stressed due to the overbooking that management allowed to happen and was doing her best. Employees should not have to suffer due to greedy, money-hungry management who are too COWARDLY to come in to speak with customers. I hope the manager of this hotel is publicly shamed due to their treatment of military members and families. Do not go through the hassle of dealing with this hotel when there are plenty of other hotels in the area. Shame on the management of this hotel. P.S. There is no hot water in the shower. Our Ranger could not even take a hot shower. Wow. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Terrible housekeeping, unhappy platinum IHG Rewards member

Upon check-in, we discovered some items left by previous guests in kitchen cabinet such as peanut butter and storage bags. The bathroom toilet had no lid, soap left on soap dish by previous guest and shower gel dispenser completely empty. The hotel is undergoing renovation but the overall condition of the guest room was poor! The sofa bed was dirty and the curtains had stains. See photos. We reported the issue at the Front Desk the very next morning but all she could offer was 500 Rewards points after the unacceptable cleanliness we received from our first night. Take heed: IHG Rewards members, this hotel only requires 15k points per night but stay away from this property. It’s not worth it! I’m a platinum member and has been with IHG Rewards for 13 years and this by far is one of the dirtiest IHG hotel I’ve stayed at. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Heaven sent

We had a horrible experience at another place and had to book this place last minute. After a long stressful day, this place was everything we needed and wanted. Clean, comfy, helpful, polite and amazing. They offer dinner a couple times a week, free use of washer and dryers, and the staff was amazing. Our rooms had a kitchen (plates, utensils, cups), full sized fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. It’s super close to Walmart, different restaurants, and other stores. We were traveling as a family with small kids and this was the best place we could have stayed! Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
