So so adequate

Staybridge is a great brand! We visited San Jo for a wedding. This hotel was near the airport. Having a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen is always convenient for a young family. This property seemed like a converted apartment complex to me, although that didn't effect our experience. Industrial area with some construction. Location was central for our needs. Perfect for families!

This hotel is perfect for our family of 4. It had a kitchen, two bedrooms and 4 beds (if you include the sofa bed). Free breakfast is included, free dinner and wine on Monday-Wednesday. It was clean and roomy, plus the service was excellent. We will be back for sure. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Value But Long Check In
Feb 11th, 2020
We are a family of four with a 13 and 11 year old. We stayed in the two bedroom suite with a king in one room and two full beds in the other. Each had their own bathroom and shower. Was a really nice room and great value. A tiny bit off the beaten path but very convenient to the airport and the 101. Only ding on this place was how long it took the front desk to figure out if they had a clean room for us. Took us over 30min before we got our room. The manager and front desk staff struggled to find out from the cleaning staff if the room was ready. We were just one of a few folks in this situation. Was something I had not experienced before so was a little frustrating. Overall though, we would stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
One of the best stays for a business visitor
Feb 3rd, 2020
I used to frequently visit our HQ in San Jose and picked staybridge suites everytime. I have stayed there 3 times and each time for at least 2 weeks. Pros: 1. Courteous Staff 2. Spacious apartments 3. Laundry 4. Parking space is very good 5. Close to San Jose International Airport and Technology Drive. 6. Worth the money for the facilities one gets Cons: 1. The area is surrounded by casinos, so it gets a bit shady in the late nights post 10PM. However, there is enough security on the campus and I have never seen troubles. 2. Closer to airport but a bit away from Safeway, Walgreens, Walmart etc. You definitely need a car or uber to commute. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Housekeeping Lacking - Disappointing Stay
Jan 6th, 2020
We have always enjoyed staying at Staybridge Suites properties when we travel. We enjoyed our stay at the other Staybridge Suites in San Jose several months ago, but that property didn't have two bedroom suites which we needed as our adult son was traveling with us. We stayed here for 8 nights during Christmas week, so I understand that they were probably not fully staffed. We did not receive any housekeeping for three days in a row. After the second day, my husband went to the desk to get more towels and ask about whether we'd receive light housekeeping. Another day passed, and I went to the desk to ask again, because the trash cans were full. The notice in the room indicated that if we were staying more than 7 nights, we'd receive daily light housekeeping and one full-service cleaning, which was never done. The accommodations were fine, standard for the Staybridge Suites. Tiny bathrooms, but the showers were very good. Spacious, comfortable living area. The area concerned us a bit. It is in the middle of an office/industrial park with nothing else in the immediate area. There is construction nearby which was quite noisy in the morning. Loud, speeding cars woke us several times in the middle of the night. Just not crazy about the area. The parking lot is extremely well-lit, which indicates they are quite aware of the rampant car break-in's in the Bay Area (we had our rental car broken into in Palo Alto just one hour after we left the airport). Do not leave anything visible in your car. The breakfast area is small and everyday, there were lines of people, not enough seating, food running out and not always being replenished if it was within a half-an-hour of closing. We ended up buying food at the grocery store and eating breakfast in our room. Everyone on the staff was nice, just ineffective. The woman at the desk when we checked out kindly notified the manager and emailed that we would receive credit and be contacted by the manager, which has still not happened (if you're reading this review, don't bother contacting us now). Just terribly disappointed since we chose Staybridge because we have always been very satisfied with every other stay at every other Staybridge property. Eight nights is a long time, and we had hoped for a comfortable, pleasant stay. Next trip to San Jose, we will stay at a different Staybridge property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
