We visited here September 2017, so this is a bit of a late review! However, this hotel always comes to mind when looking back on holidays as one of the best hotels we've stayed at. Everything from arrival was amazing, so amazing I can remember every bit of until now! The people at reception were so lovely and friendly from the minute we arrived with our luggage - we arrivated late in the evening, but the staff were still quick to take our luggage to our room and tell us where to find the buffet for dinner, as there wasn't long before this was closed for the day. We managed to have dinner with no rush on our first evening and everything was amazing! There are lots of selections from food with vary from day to day with different cuisines. The rooms are really big, with steps that go up to the bathroom! Living room area is big which is connected to the bedroom, and then the balcony which is amazing and spacious, with all balconys having incredible views of the sea due to the location of the hotel being on a kind of cliff! Definitely recommend for good room views! As a couple we would definitely look to return here in the future, as we have nothing but good things to say and memories of the hotel! Amazinggg for the price TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Too loud, no peace so i cant relax and concentrate
Jun 4th, 2020
My intentions for this holiday was to get a week away from home and enjoy the sunshine and cool refreshments with a little piece and quiet away from the children. Little did i know... I visited a place with much more children and noise than im used to. I wanted the piece and quiet so i could work as well because i have reports to write and it is difficult to do so with constant screaming by loads of children. The staff on top of this were not great they were dull and didnt seem to respect me and just made my experience worse. I had problems in my room and my balcony door broke and wouldnt shut tight allowing noise in and the staff failed to fix it and refused to tranfer me to another room so it was loud inside my room when i tried to get some work done. We came here for a 7 day stay in September with my inlaws. The hotel itself was massive, spotless, with a beautiful sea view. The cleaning staff work endlessly. Reception staff and all waiters/bar staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Our room was huge, honestly loved it and although our beds were pushed together it was such a comfy sleep we had lie ins!! The restaurant and gentlemens attire I found a little bizarre but it was quite nice to see no beer bellies hanging out or tracksuits. The food itself had a great variety for all types of people including myself who is allergic to many food groups, yes I couldn't eat half of it but it looked great. I saw reviews on here about it almost being like a school dinner line with hot plate stands etc and yes it's to keep the food hot, you'll always get some real picky people who are never happy. The sour part of our stay which has left myself, husband and my inlaws with a little bit of ptsd is the silver tin can lifts. One in particular i swore against never getting in again. We were on the 8th floor, heading to reception (6th floor) to get the bus into a local town, the lift got to the 6th floor and then plummeted (scary like in the films)to what we thought was the ground floor except it was the pit of the lifts. We pressed the alarm, reception answered and then for the next 45 minutes no one spoke to us to tell us what they were doing, ie engineers on their way, are we ok etc. It was made more uncomfortable by 28 degree heat in a tin can! Eventually after lots of banging and spanish (really wish I knew more spanish) we were wrenched up, then the lift kicked back into gear and flew up to the 9th floor. Safe to say I flew out of their crying, the poor cleaning guy must've thought I was weird until I explained and he helped calm me down. We went to reception they apologised, got us water and checked us over, then made sure we got a free taxi to the local town, my anger is that we weren't the only people it happened too whilst we were there,10 plus couples or people although their's was just being stuck on their floor or door not opening. I did take picture evidence of the inspection certificate (which at the time was blank, attached picture) and had never been filled in... We did manage to track our holiday reps down..pointless really! They seemed nice enough but chocolate in the sun would've been more sympathetic and intrigued to investigate, they let us down massively. The entertainment was fabulous for if you are over a certain age,the but we made our own up as we are used to camping in the middle of nowehere so for us it isn't important. The freddie act was generally funny but that was just 1 night out of 7, so if you're big on entertainment this isn't for you. Although they do do a cracking adults disco. Overall it was relaxing and beautiful view, The staff at this hotel were genuinely amazing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice for a week Poor Reps
Apr 14th, 2020
So we wanted a week in the warm sun in a Hotel with no kids. This Hotel ticked the boxes for us. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of bubbly (no alternatives) so i had mine and my wifes. Check in was quick and easy. We were in a Luxury suite on the 7th floor. (you'll know by now all the rooms have a great view). The room was huge, really nicely appointed, big bathroom with nice walk in shower. All nice and clean. The doubel bed were the obligatory 2 shoved together, but let me tell you this was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in! The balcony had the 2 loungers on it which we did utilise two or three times, the flower bed in the balconies could have been used. Some had flowers most didnt. this was a shame. Ok so we had arrived around 5pm to we found ourselves hungry so straight down to the buffet restaurant, (the food here by the way we thought was really good, plenty of choice so for us there were no problems with the scran here) however i had read about dress code. I has dress shorts tshirt and shirt on with shoes. I may as well have had nothing on and had a pink mohican, the looks i was getting from some people. Incredible. These are the people that had been going for years, and while we ourselves loathe to share a hotel let alone a restaurant with footy shirts/tracksuit laden tourists I hadnt experienced this level of snobbery before. But the food was good. The waiting staff we felt were miserable, we did encounter one or two that were fine, this can be said of the bar staff also, very surly characters. Drinks were good, though the entertainment especially in the piano bar of an evening was awful. If you like to get out and about for shopping or a general walk around a town etc this isnt for you. there isnt much here at all, which suited us being there for a week. But we'd struggle here for 2 weeks. Overall this is a really nice hotel , nice and calm, the pool area is lovely (beware though its very slippy around the pool, the amount of people slipping was high) this needs to be sorted out given lots of people here were over 60) The downside for me here were the Reps. We booked a Jeep Adventure with MIchelle, paying 110 Euros of the friday to go on the Saturday. So we get up early to get our brekky and head off down the road to be picked up....we werent picked up....so back to the hotel to wait for the rep who started at 9am. We saw Tracy, she looked and told us it had been cancelled due to lack of numbers the same day we booked it! We werent told. Also on the day we were leaving for home, we and another couple were sat in the reception are an hor before pick up. We heard a rep walking around asking for folks travelling to gatwick and birmingham, we were Newcastle, so come 12:50 our pick up time i looked up and saw a bus leaving, i ran outside to find it was ours. No rep came to tell us, no driver coming in to tick us of his list. We immediately spoke to rep Tracy, who said its not their job to round up guests, and the drivers dont come into the hotels either. I had spoken to her half an hour before to say were were waiting for the off. She didnt seem overly bothered about our welfare at all, didnt make any effort to help, unlike a bunch of lovely ladies who had booked a minibus to the airport. Really terrible Repping here. Again nice hotel, but TUI are are from making this a special hotel. We wont return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Thank you for looking after us

We were on holiday for 2 weeks, unfortunately, no fault of hotel, we were put into lockdown at the start of our second week. The hotel staff were excellent ensuring we were kept safe, and still meeting our needs by way of food and drinks. Although we had to stay in our rooms, we still managed to enjoy our time at the hotel due to Sun beds on the room balcony. All members of staff were courteous in very stressful times, and a special thanks to everyone. Booked for next year already TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
