The Negril Palms Hotel was amazing, our stay was late December into January of 2021. The entire staff was professional, the rooms were clean and the food was good. The beach and pool were easy access along with all the restaurants that are within walking distance. If you are looking for a getaway like "Couples Sweep Away"where the prices are $1000.00 a day, that's where you should go, but if your looking for a great affordable, relaxing, beautiful resort We would recommend Negril Palms Hotel. Solid inexpensive lodging

Mar 10th, 2020

Solid, centrally located resort with an amazing location.... The rooms could use some updating, but the price reflects that. Right in the middle of 7 miles of beautiful beach / water. Lilies restaurant is a very short walk from the resort, which I would highly recommend .... Loved the palm trees on the beach. Very relaxing beach area... Security stayed on top of the vendors.... A few vendors were offering Caribbean lobsters with garlic butter for $15.00, make sure to bargain them down to $10.00 . They were very good. Whats better than sucking down fresh lobster in a lounge chair with an ice cold red stripe. Yum! Would recommend purchasing your alcohol of choice in town rather than paying $3.00 per beer at the resort even though that price is not that bad... The resort offers mini fridges for an additional $10.00, which honestly is BS. They should definitely include them...Check in was smooth as was checking... Would not hesitate to recommend... This is a quiet place on the beach. Rooms are set in a nice garden. Staff are wonderful and accommodating. There is a small bar and restaurant. The food is acceptable. Sevice is wonderfully slow. After all mon this Jamaica! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice place, but construction noise

Feb 18th, 2020

I really like The Palms. Stayed here for a month last year and here for two this year. The grounds and staff are lovely. The rooms are large and nice. However, they are doing heavy construction in the building of additional rooms, with pounding/banging from 8:00am on every day. Impossible to just sit on your porch and relax. This work should not be done in February, the height of the season, but rather during the Summer/Fall when nobody is around. They should also concentrate on fixing the many signs of aging in the existing property - cracked/missing concrete, outside mold, lack of stair railings -typical deterioration that a resort by the sea would suffer over time without constant maintenance. In the star ratings for cleanliness, I gave three stars based primarily on these exterior issues. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
