Disgustingly dirty and unhygienic

Jan 31st, 2020

Don’t stay here if you value your health and safety. Upon check in we found used band aids in the bed and stained bedding. Very dirty, gross, and unhygienic. Front desk was not helpful at all. We found a cleaner place in Korea town at the same price point and just as convenient location. This hotel doesn’t even deserve one star! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We saw LA but didn´t enjoy staying in the hotel

Jan 24th, 2020

This was at very convenient place, not far from to the metro. That was a big plus! But the pictures didn´t give the real outlook of the hotel, it was much more dirty/oldish than the pictures show. The staff was not very polite (mostly hanging with their phones) and the breakfast was far more bad than the pictures implies. The room was not that clean -- too much money for not so good quality. Not happy

Dec 24th, 2019

I requested a rollaway bed and I was charged extra for it at time of reservation, however when I checked in there was no rollaway available. Which made it very difficult for our family to look for another hotel. Not happy at all! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If you NEED a place to stay

Aug 15th, 2019

We were traveling from out of state to LA to visit my brother in the nearby hospital. The parking situation is bad and not enough lot space. The room was filthy. The matresses where very old and uncomfortable. The towel holder was rusted. Paint was peeling, and spots painted over that were bleeding through the paint. There had been a leak in the ceiling which had been patched so badly. The room looked like it was straight out of a horror movie. Everything very outdated and needing replacement. I shocked myself turning off the bathroom light because my hand touch the screw holding the plate on. No my hands weren't wet. Behind the night stand literally dust bunnies and the wall was wearing a fur coat. At 156 a night mid week I expected a little better. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

3 night stay.

Aug 13th, 2019

I stayed at this Super 8 for 3 nights, arriving late last Wednesday night. The night clerk was pleasant, but the time to check in seemed like it took an unusual amount of time. My room was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the Mexican restaurant on Western. For 1 person, the room was large enough. It was clean, and it smelled good. The bed was large enough, and with a couple more days, my back would have been totally adjusted to the beds firmness. The bathroom was clean. The shower worked very well. The tv seemed very new, and the display was about as nice as I have ever seen. I did not take part in the breakfast in the front lobby area, other than to pour myself a cup of coffee. I visited 2 nearby places for breakfast. Including a Dennys, and the Dreams Café and Bar. UCB Sunset is right around the corner from the hotel. The Hollywood/Western Metro rail station is about a block and a half away. There is a Walgreens basically right next door. The price for my 3 night stay was not too bad. I liked the location for what I wanted to do in town, and having the metro rail line so close. If I came to the area again, and the price was right, I would stay there again. Otherwise I might check out one of the several other nearby hotels. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
