super close to airport

Super close to airport with 5am to 5pm airport shuttle service. We had to take a shuttle to airport on christmas day at 5am and the staff gave us the lift. Was literally a block away. Wifi was a bit slow but other than that its perfect TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

close to the airport, but you might have to walk.

The front staff is the best thing about this place. They do not offer shuttle service for evening flights nor early morning flights. We had to taxi and uber. Kind of the whole point was to get transport to the airport. The room looked clean, but upon closer inspection, the ceiling had cobwebs and bugs. The bathroom had cracked grouting with mold, and I have bites on my chest even though the sheets smelled of bleach. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Hotel Friendly Staff

Jan 8th, 2020

We arrived very late and it seemed we were probably the only late arrival; however, the woman at the desk was very friendly and greeted us well. We had a room on the second floor and it was facing partially away from the main road, so we didn't hear a lot of road noise which I was happy about. The room is decorated relatively modern; however, the furnishings and bath have not really been updated; however, you have the basic needs - tub, toilet and a vanity. All the bath amenities and towels for 3 people were present - there were no additional needs. Although it's not the hotels fault and room keys must be used to for the elevator, there was a very loud knock on the door at 5am from what seemed someone who had the wrong room as we heard their phone ding that they got a message and they left. Not certain if they weren't staying there how they got up to the second floor, but that was annoying because we had only 1 hour of sleep by that point. This has happened several times at several hotels that have outside doors instead of inside corridors, so I'm not scoring based on this experience - it could happen anywhere/anytime and I get that! Overall, it was a decent hotel and I would stay again if in the Albuquerque area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Albuquerque, NM location

Jan 3rd, 2020

We loved the instant hot water in the room! We didn’t know until we got in the room that it didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. We were only staying one night, so we didn’t request a room change, but it would have been nice to be offered the option. A TV with a guide would have been nice to see what viewing options were available. This Super 8 location was much nicer than the one we stayed at in Moore, Oklahoma for 6 days. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Met my needs

Dec 13th, 2019

I wouldn't vacation here but it's fine for a night or two. I ended up in a suite, which is a double that has had the second bed swapped out for a small couch and coffee table, a chest of drawers and small chest, microwave and mini-fridge. It had a king bed and a soaker tub with jets. THAT was much appreciated. The king bed was comfy. I didn't see it until the morning but there was an extra blanket and pillow in the closet. The front desk staff worked to find me a suitable room. I wanted ground floor next to some grass for easy pet care. The rooms have exterior entrances, which I like when traveling with my dog. There is a $10.79 pet fee. ($10 + tax) I was disappointed to see a stain on the carpet and what looked like food spots on the bed scarf as both looked as if they could be easily removed. I advised the front desk at check-out so hopefully they will do something about it. (Room 107, in case you are checking.) Breakfast had the typical high carb offerings (dry cereal, breads, waffles) as well as biscuits & gravy, yogurt, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. The eggs are liquid (not fresh). There was honey, which I like for tea. Due to its location, there was no road noise at night. I slept well so it did what it's supposed to do: A safe, clean, dry, warm place to spend the night while road tripping with my dog. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
