Great place

Jan 11th, 2020

Staff was excellent and rooms were taken care of. I wish that the breakfast had more of a selection but over all a good stay. I would Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice alternative outside of the prime areas

Jan 3rd, 2020

We can't stay in the French Quarter area itself as we had to pay for overnight parking which was expensive, but this provides a good alternative. Contrary to many of the advises I've seen, bringing a car in the French Quarter and paying for parking vs doing uber is less costly (provided you aren't drinking). So, we mostly parked at the French Market which is the least expensive parking, or at the street parking where it is free after 7pm. The hotel itself has the New Orleans charm, accentuated by the decors. For the price we paid it was well worth it, and the buffet breakfast is a good start, though not much but already a good plus given the price. They provide covered and free parking - which was our main concern. The room was a good size and clean for us, and hey offer a microwave and ref. The only downside i can see is they don't have any in room safe, but we just didn't allow room service so nobody came in. It was quiet enough for us - maybe because we were located at the end of the corridor, but still it wasn't a long walk from the elevator. Good experience overall TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Noisy but Clean

Dec 27th, 2019

This was a great priced hotel. It was definitely clean for the most part (as clean as you can feel in a hotel). The only downfall was that the walls were crazy thin so we could hear all the people talking as if they were in the room with us. I liked that the room heated up and cooled down with the thermostat correctly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My stay

Dec 20th, 2019

I believe this place is possibly going through new management, but I’m not sure. The people were very friendly and accommodating but the room was horrible as far as cleanliness. The tub was dirty and the floor was so dirty my feet were blackish. The blanket was full of burn holes. The fridge wasn’t properly cleaned. Since we arrived late in the evening we checked the beds for bugs etc. and just didn’t use the tub. The noise level was loud at moments, in fact such a loud noise about 4 times during the night that it would startle you for a moment. The pillows were flat but bunched up and cases folded so they appeared fluffy. The continental breakfast wasn’t ready in time and there was little to choose from. They even opened the packages of the tiny cinnamon rolls and cut them in quarters. How petty. They are handled with our gloves either. Orange juice was like water. I was not pleased with it at all. I will not return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good price and still close enough

Nov 22nd, 2019

Good location and price. About 15-20 minutes from French Quarter and affordable if you take taxi or uber. Front desk ladies were really nice and we got a good morning from Miss Cathy almost every day. Very basic rooms, comfortable and clean with minifridge and microwave. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
