Don’t do it unless you absolutely have to and even then don’t do it!!!

Oct 4th, 2020

We had ants in our room, we could hear doors constantly slamming throughout the day, the elephants above us waking up at 8:10am every morning, and the nonstop banging on the walls waking us up in the middle of the night. Overall this hotel has been the worst experience of my life. Don’t ever write reviews for places but here I am at 12:27 AM awake because of the banging. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Quick weekend trip

Aug 18th, 2020

The room was fantastic. Loved the hot tub and fireplace. It seems like everything was recently updated. Will return to this location again in the near future. And location was perfect. Just wish we could have breakfast but due to covid it was closed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Last minute Trip

Aug 17th, 2020

2020. We all know it has been horrible. My daughter's senior trip was canceled due to Covid. We then planned a trip to Chicago before she starts college in a couple weeks... Well one day before we were to leave that was canceled too because of spikes in Covid cases and riots. She picked Pigeon Forge. I immediately went online to start searching for place to stay. Because we waited last minute everything was either filled or very expensive. She found Super8. I was very hesitant because sorry I am a hotel snob. I need clean rooms. I am not dealing with drama while on vacation. We took the plunge. I told her we could possibly find another hotel if this was a huge failure. Fast forward we arrived. The first room we were given did have a leaky bathtub faucet. That was a no go for me. Chaged rooms. Changed room was clean and to my surprise the bed was very comfortable. Easy in and out. I saw pervious review stating someone was doing drugs. I am very observant. I did not see anything like that. The pool is small. Don't be expecting to do laps or much swimming. It is simply a soaking pool. Maybe 5 people at a time. The staff was very welcoming. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Do NOT stay here!!!

Aug 1st, 2020

I was very disgusted with my stay. And if I wasn’t bound by the 48 hr rule of cancellation I would have been gone. First of all drugs were all over the place. They had a man that I assume lived there, each day he went out several times a day and sat on the steps to smoke weed and drink starting in the morning. There was another person sitting in his Escalade in the parking lot when we were leaving snorting what appeared to be cocaine. The second floor stayed smelling like cigarettes and weed the entire time. I did not feel safe, and bc of that I barely left my room to enjoy my vacation in fear they would break into my room. Lastly, the room was so small it was hard to maneuver with 2 adults and 2 kids. I may have gotten 4 hours of sleep total while there. It was misery. Only good thing about this place was the room rates but I can see now you get what you pay for. And what we paid for was drug alley! I’m disgusted my kids had to see that and I had to explain it. Will stay here again!

Jul 18th, 2020

We had rented a hotel in Bristol which was also Wyndham owned and had a terrible we drove around 2 hrs to get to pigeon forge to stay here. The rate we got was amazing! There are a couple things that I wish I could’ve changed like the parking situation, the whole lot was full we had to squeeze into a tiny spot...we got there at 2am so I realize that if we had gotten there sooner we would’ve had parking. Another thing that was negative was the night shift staff, rude is an understatement. He was sitting behind the desk with his wireless headphones in, assuming he was listening to music or something we said “excuse me” and he didn’t respond. We then said “we called about a late check in, and would like to go ahead and do that” and he held up his index finger indicating he needed a minute. We realized then that he was talking on the phone to someone. His attitude seemed unprofessional, if you are in a personal phone call at work that’s okay, but ask them to hold because you have a customer...don’t shush your customers 🥴 Either way we were so tired so we didn’t even care about that incident. Our room was very nice! There was a crack in the mirror and part of the baseboard was coming off, but that seems like normal wear and tear on a hotel room. It felt safe and clean here so I will always come back to this location when visiting pigeon forge!! Did I mention the rates were awesome?? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
