Beautiful Resort

Aug 2nd, 2020

Our family stayed the last week of July. This resort was very family friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the proximity to TNP and the relaxation of being in Teton Village. I did not enjoy how “busy” town was. I looked forward to the peaceful rooftop hot tub and amazing “Spur” restaurant onsite. My entire family said it was one of their favorite vacations ever! Great visit to Teton Village

Aug 2nd, 2020

We stayed at the hotel the last week of July. It seems they have improved some of the things I read recent complaints about. Room service was available every day. It did take a bit but was nice to eat in our room and not deal with restaurants all the time. Our room was spacious with a large balcony overlooking the mountain. Because of COVID they are not doing daily service to each room. You just call guest services if you need anything. They brought it very quickly and left it in a bag outside our room. I appreciated this quick contactless delivery. They had a handout that we got at checkin that I thought did a good job of explaining the current procedures. Because of COVID not everything is open in the Teton Village area but we knew that going in. Dining is definitely limited and expensive compared to staying in Jackson but it also feels way less busy and chaotic. Loved taking the gondola to the top of the mountain in the evening and having a drink. Rides were free after 5pm. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not the Time to Visit!

Jul 28th, 2020

We stayed at the Teton Mountain Lodge July 19-26th. It was way understaffed, their policy right now is that they do not clean rooms, the restaurant was sorely understaffed and servers were slow and grumpy. It was not as nice as pictured in the photographs. Our room was more rustic than I expected. The bathroom was fabulous with a big jacuzzi tub/shower and 2 sinks. There is not much too this Lodge other than a place to stay. Not many common areas and it is small. Their is a small indoor and outdoor pool and hot tubs. However, being in the Teton Village was fabulous. What a special place...beautiful and so much to do for kids with a great playground, fountains a creek, bungee tramps and a climbing wall. I think you could find a nicer hotel that is more functioning in the village. I will say the front desk staff tried their best to help....they are to be commended during this difficult time. And, this low staff and experience are not uncommon right now with COVID 19. If you care about your hotel experience, come another time. It is a lot of money to pay for no room service and hard to fine restaurants that can feed you! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not impressed

Jul 28th, 2020

We only spent one evening at Teton Mountain Lodge as a quick stopover on our way to Yellowstone but I’m glad it was only one evening. We had a junior suite with no upgraded view but for the $782 after tax that we spent on this tiny room I must say they are completly overrated. Our room was literally the first room off the lobby, next to the stair case and elevators. We were too tired to even bother asking for something else. Strike one. We arrived at 7:30pm from the airport and we were starving. We headed down to the restaurant for dinner and they were full for the rest of the night. I understand limited capacity during Covid times but it was NEVER communicated in any emails or on the website that we needed to reserve dining in advance. We are now staying at more well known 5 star hotel in Teton and they are only allowing registered guests of the hotel and residences to eat in their restaurants therefore eliminating this potential issue. Maybe Teton should take some lessons from them. Being a Friday night every restaurant available in Teton was booked and we were unable to find food until after 9:00pm- which was already 11:00 for us. This is unacceptable for what we paid to stay. Finally after we managed to get everyone fed we made it back to the room. There was a small kitchenette with a mini fridge that made a horrible rattling noise all night. There was hair and dried toothpaste left in the bathroom sink. So much for extra sanitizing due to Covid. The bathrooms themselves are dated and in need of renovation. Pros- the bed and even the sofa bed for the kids were incredibly comfortable. The limited interaction we had with staff was positive and friendly. Cons- just about everything else. You are paying for location. With limited services at this hotel during this time it is not worth the money. You can spend just a little bit more for a much better experience elsewhere. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had an amazing 4 night stay. The staff was incredibly helpful and the 1 bedroom suite was stunning. My 17 year old enjoyed the gym. Food great and really nothing negative to say. Looking forward to coming back. A great location to call "home" while visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
