Cute boutique hotel

Aug 30th, 2020

A really cute little hotel with lovely modern rooms and in a very good and central location. The breakfast was really good and the staff were very helpful - just beware that there are no lifts, which can be a challenge on the higher floors! Would definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Disappointing Stay

Aug 15th, 2020

I stayed with this hotel based on the good reviews for a one night stay in Amsterdam. It’s possible the management changed? When I arrived, there was a maintenance man in my room and a mess outside that stayed the night I was there. The a/c was broken and was not fixed. I advised the front desk, and they told me they were aware and should use the portable a/c. But the portable a/c was not set up so another person came to fix that. It was incredibly loud all night, and required because the room did not appear to have a window I could open. On top of that, the floors were filthy, particularly in the bathroom. I noticed when I walked around barefoot, and when I put my feet up on the bed, the sheets were brown. Visible dust everywhere; many surfaces hadn’t been cleaned on a long time. There was no coffee or tea, and after some was brought, I realized the coffee maker was broken. All in all, not a great visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice place and location for Amsterdam visit

Mar 9th, 2020

We stayed here for only 1 night for a long layover before travel to Africa. The hotel was in communication before we left the US, giving us detailed directions to the hotel from the airport. It's easy and quick to take the train to Central station, then the Tram to an intersection near the hotel. The staff were all efficient and pleasant. The complimentary wine and snacks and included breakfast were great and appreciated. Our plane left late the next day, so we stored our luggage there and walked the immediate area and the museum district , all felt safe. The area is quiet for a good night's sleep. We will stay again if in Amsterdam. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely rooms with canal view, great complimentary aperitivo

Feb 26th, 2020

We stayed at Amsterdam Canal Hotel for two nights during our Amsterdam visit. As a party of four we had booked two rooms. Both were lovely and uniquely decorated, especially the room with canal view on first floor can be strongly recommended - super cosy beds with a great view! Very generous - minibar and aperitivo with wine, nuts and cheese in the breakfast room are for free. We really enjoyed this after returning to the hotel from our long walks. Also very lovely breakfast. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
