Nice older building

Right in the middle of the nice eating/shopping district. Our room was as big as a half basketball court! Only 2 blocks to the north was Austin’s restaurant which I would also recommend. Would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

All the charms you want from an independent hotel

Fantastic hotel! The staff was friendly and attentive; the follow up texts throughout our stay were a nice touch. The lobby and rooms are well designed and unique, loved the variety of art everywhere. It was convenient to have Ace's for dining and drinks right downstairs, and an added bonus that the quality was excellent. Lastly, the location in the middle of Old Town put us within walking distance of so many activities, just a quick drive from others. We loved our stay, can't wait to return! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super charming hotel

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Armstrong. It really is a beautiful and unique hotel in a great location. Our deluxe king room was spacious, the bed was super comfy and the toiletries provided were better than anywhere we have stayed. Sure, the walls are a little thin, but the design, the artwork, the staff and the space more than make up for it. Highly recommended. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

LOVE the Armstrong Hotel!

Sep 7th, 2020

We LOVED the Armstrong Hotel! Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We noticed high quality, great atmosphere and design, clean, very helpful and friendly staff and they are (well-behaved) dog friendly which we really truly needed. We will definitely be back!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Definitely some pros and cons

Aug 24th, 2020

Pros- friendly staff, great location for walking to restaurants and shopping, nice free bikes Cons- we were on floor 2 and people walking above (on floor 3) was VERay loud in our room. Would never stay here again unless we were on top floor. Nightly train passes at 3-4am and blows horn - 1 block away. Our room (220) was at the back of the hotel, I'd request a room on the college Ave side to be away from this noise. Overall, would be very nice in the right room, but was very loud for us.
