The lady at the front desk " Leslie" was absolutely rude !!!! I have stayed here several times before and NEVER received this treatment First she did not GREET me she had an attitude from the beginning very unpleasant Next, she sent me to the 14th floor the keys were not working I went to speak to her and she did not apologized but rudely tells me another room number. I go to the other floor the room is TERRIBLE and is facing construction the room smelled and looked worn down...I called down to speak with her and ask for a better room she RUDELY tells me I have to pay $30 I am on a time crunch because I have an event planned for the evening I go back down again and ask to speak with a manager she tells me the manager gets in at 11 pm..... I am disgusted ..I called and spoke with someone the next day but nothing was done ..Im sure ...he did not even take my name..I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere ......... Beautiful hotel with stunning views

This is a beautiful hotel. Our suite on the 7th floor was amazing with stunning views. The room and hotel were very clean. We felt very safe staying here during this pandemic. The staff was incredible, everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The room was very nice and views were to die for! However, I purchased a suite bc my family and I came from out of town (6 of us) to celebrate my graduation. The front desk at check in was very polite she asked me to write the name of my 8 guest because with the room I got those were the allowed number of guest WHICH WAS FINE!!! The rude manager came from the back and told me I could only have 3 people in the room, I asked so why did the front desk just tell me to write the 8 names of my guest?! I’ve read the rules on the website which was exactly why I picked the suite so that it could accommodate the amount of guest but the manager was persistent with only allowing 3 people in the room. As upset as I was because she says that AFTER I check in, I still had my aunt bring my food up an hour later. The manager calls MY ROOK and says ,” hi I see there is activity going on I just want to remind you I said no more than 3 guest in the room” I find that very rude and she SINGLED me out!!! There are over 1000 rooms here yet you assume because someone is going up they’re coming to my room?! I was not pleased with the customer service or the manager. I couldn’t even enjoy my celebration because I was limited to 3 people in a room I paid for, I was better off renting an AIRBNB or just going to another hotel TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Atlantic Hotel to the rescue

My son and girlfriend booked a 10 day stay in June via Airbnb at the Sea Club Resort which is a neighboring hotel to the Atlantic and were robbed and had their lives threatened by vagrants there and were advised by the staff there to leave for their own safety and would receive a full refund. They left immediately and called Airbnb and received absolutely no assistance and were essentailly out on the street at 1:00 in the morning with no where to go. Thanks Airbnb for doing absolutely nothing yet to this day after a minimum of 15 conversations but I digress... We sent my son next door to the Atlantic which we have stayed at repeatedly through the years and thankfully Jacquelyn Barcelona, our contact, was working that night and graciously put them up without a reservation with a very favorable rate and upgraded room and told them they could figure it out in the morning. They ended up staying for the remainder of their vacation and were so thankful as Jacquelyn offered them a very attractive rate for the remainder of the vacation. Thank you so much for turning what was such a horrible experience with the Sea Club and Airbnb into a great vacation in spite of the the initial issues. The resort is in a great location, has great views of the beach and the service there is always the best. We always stay there when in Fort Lauderdale. Would highly recommend this hotel and needless to say, stay away from Airbnb! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My 3 boys and I stayed for 2 nights and we had an awesome stay. This is my second time staying at The Atlantic and it never disappoints. The staff was amazing and during this pandemic I felt like they did everything possible to make the visit as safe as possible. Will stay here again soon. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
