Beautiful luxury

Feb 16th, 2020

We stayed here for two nights during Mardi Gras. Our room was beautiful, clean and well provisioned with towels. Our bathroom was enormous with full tub and a separate large shower. Beds were crisp and comfortable with many pillow options. The lobby is so relaxing to sit and enjoy the woodwork, high ceilings and design. The breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced for a hotel. $18 for an all you can eat buffet or $10 for a egg dish with hash browns, toast, bacon etc. Hotel was right on parade route and easy walk to restaurants, plentiful pubs and convention center. Very Unique!

Feb 15th, 2020

We loved the hotel. We had THE best shrimp and grits we've ever had in the concierge lounge! Breakfast was lovely as well, but the coffee was lukewarm. The host was very gracious. Our room was nice. Very large. The bathroom had separate tub and shower and it was nice. The bell staff was extremely gracious. Our room seemed quite clean. I'm just going to put this out here . . . . you might have a problem. One of my prescription medications totally went missing. It is a controlled substance which I am allowed to use (by my MD) due to a chronic condition I experience. The bottle of pills is gone. Disappeared. I've called lost and found twice but they don't have it. Bummer. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

RSA Spas not as advertised

Feb 11th, 2020

Not sure what is going on with RSA hotels, but hardly worthy of the Renaissance brand. We called the night before arrival and the Navigator assured us the Spa was fully functional. Of course, upon arrival, we find the steam rooms have been closed. Terrible customer service. Front desk did not how long breakfast was served, etc. Beautiful hotel in wonderful location, but just not up standards TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Always Top Notch

Feb 1st, 2020

Every time I travel to Mobile, I shop around for hotels, but always end up at the Battle House. It is convenient to downtown and Dauphin Street. Close to food and drink and a overall great base of operations. Always clean, always elegant and easy to check in and out. Already looking forward to the next stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel, one exception

Jan 29th, 2020

This hotel is beautiful and has a great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and amenities are strong, bringing a great value. *IF YOU PPAN ON SLEEPING PAST 7:00 am STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. The doors to these rooms are old school and very heavy. As inconsiderate guests leave their rooms, the doors slam louder than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m sure there there are considerate guests that close softly but the rooms are so close together that I could hear the maids loudly cleaning and talking all around me and they showed up promptly at 8:00 am. I used a noise machine and it didn’t even come close to allowing me to “sleep in” past 7:00am. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
