I've stayed at this hotel quite a few times with my wife - always superb! So, when it came to a treat for my father-in-law's 80th, this was an obvious choice. They treated my in-laws like roylaty and even kept dropping me emails to tell me how they were and what was happening. Above and beyond! Beautiful hotel with exceptional service in the heart of London - what more do you want? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The best 5* in London

Mar 8th, 2020

My husband and I have returned from a weekend stay at the hotel and it was the finest staycation we’ve had. We’ve stayed at the likes of Dorchester, Grosvenor House and several others but this was on another level. The hotel has the old class with all the new amenities. We had fresh fruit in our room everyday, topped up twice a day. Lots of free movies, chocolates, free nuts, biscuits, coffee machine and water. The attention to detail was extraordinary- everyone in the hotel knew our name, all asking if we are enjoying our anniversary celebrations, the doorman insisted upon having the hotel car drop us to dinner when we asked for a taxi, room service was fast...nothing was a problem. The location was incredible- opposite Selfridges, walking distance from Piccadilly Circus. No other 5* hotel in London can compete! A must stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very pleasant stay

Feb 26th, 2020

Having travelled to London many times and stayed at various 5 star hotels, the Beaumont is now on the top of my list. The hotel room was spacious, clean and cosy. Every staff at the hotel made us feel very welcomed, and most of them remember our names! The location of the hotel is just a minute walk from Oxford street where Selfridges is located. The location is very convenient and we were able to walk to many places. If you need a cab, you could find them easily too. The housekeeping service is top notched. They tie a ribbon around each of our charging cables and leave a full bottles of water on our bedside tables nightly. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Mayfair’s best kept five star secret

Feb 22nd, 2020

This elegant five star hotel is more club than hotel, and offers some of London’s most seamless yet accomodating service at every level. Located right in the heart of Mayfair, (and therefore London), the feel is a touch Ralph Lauren, with an Art Deco style masculine but super swish bar as the bustling centre piece of the hotel. I’d been to the 1920s style Colony Grill restaurant many times before and loved it. One of the many highlights of dining there is the diverse menu which accommodates for the most indulgent diner with steaks straight off the grill and whole Dover sole to vegan salads -and each are equally delicious. The ice cream note pad delivered in addition to the dessert menu is a highlight but I’ll save that for the restaurant review! I had no idea how exceptional a stay would be, and how seamlessly & exceptionally the restaurant and all it has to offer; from a light afternoon tea trolley prepared daily to breakfast ginger shots fits into daily life for in-house guests. The staff seem to love working within the hotel, and greet guests by name and feel like family within a short time. There are 73 rooms, and each has grey carpet, generous, plush beds, polished wood furniture and room to settle right in with generous cupboard space. There are two hall marks of fabulous, but practical five star hotels for women. One is the hairdryer, the other are mirrors. (So many hotels scrimp on both), but The Beaumont comes up trumps with a Bayliss dryer that has plenty of settings and strength, and sufficient mirrors which are both full length and top only. Hallelujah! The bathrooms are brilliantly lit and again have generous mirrors and body products made directly and exclusively for The Beaumont. But it was the daily made chocolates delivered to the room that won me. What an indulgence. And to my delight at night we were left with blocks of both milk and dark chocolate again made exclusively for The Beaumont. We felt so spoilt. The spa was the icing on the cake -the gym is serviced regularly with fresh fruit and water, and there are sufficient weights and cardio equipment to get anyone through a London winter, when fitness outside is tough due to both the dark and the cold. But the dry and wet saunas, plunge pool, ice bath and relaxation room were the ultimate. They are all complimentary for in-house guests. The concierge were incredibly helpful and when we arrived home the second night to fresh mint tea in a thermos by the bed, I wanted to move in! What a joy to know this level of service and care still exists in the world. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
