Iconic

The very best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in and I travel globally on a regular basis and only ever stay in 5 star resorts. Rooms are immaculate, the service is next level and the food is out of this world. Obviously not in every persons budget but does prove that you do pay for what you get. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pampered at the Pink Palace

Jan 11th, 2020

We checked in for 2 nights and it was hard leaving this quick trip! The hotel was decorated for the holiday season and it looked magical! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the staff with welcome arms, our room had a beautiful wrap around balcony (room 417) and was spacious and comfortable. We arrived with enough time for a late lunch or healthy snack before our dinner reservations to change and explore the property since this was my first time at the hotel but it had been several years since my husband had stayed back at the BHH. We had a light lunch at the Cabana Cafe at the pool then finished our drinks in the pool lunge chairs basking in the sun. We decided to get ready for dinner early so we went and enjoyed two glass of the BHH red wine at the Polo Lounge, Jimmy the bartender was easy to talk too and gave us some pointers to check out while we where in town. He also gave us some fun facts on the hotel, the history of this landmark is so interesting- especially the people who have walked through the doors. We made sure to come back the next night before dinner to indulge in some more of the Polo Lounge vibe, this time with a dirty martini! We indulged in the gift shop & even though we lived all the gifts we found, my husband was looking for a nutcracker ornament. We where blown away when the gift shop called and had located a nutcracker ornament- how nice for them to go out of there way to find this for us! We enjoyed the next day lounging at the Cabana Cafe and pool - Rebecca the manager has a wonderful staff! Everyone is so friendly! Paulina took care of us and even kept our champagne full while we escaped to the hot tub area- it was truly a day filled with rest, relaxation and laughter of a vacation. The truffle fries are amazing and I could of made a meal of just those with my champagne! Our room was amazing. The shower had wonderful water pressure and the bed was so comfortable~ I didn’t hear any noise from the streets or the hallway- it was some of the best sleep I had in a long time! Also the elevator was very prompt- we never waited more then a minute or 2. We had a late flight back home the next day so we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on the balcony where we got to enjoy the palm trees and nature of the front grounds- the landscaping dept does a fabulous job keeping everything bright and happy! The cutest woodpeckers spy on you from the palms- I could have lounges on the balcony with a glass of wine while my husband was on a business call for hours & just watched the 4 little birds play. Before we headed to the airport we stopped in the Fountain Coffee Room for lunch- the clam chowder and Russian sandwich was amazing! My husband ordered the club and it looked great!! It was hard getting into the car to leave such a wonderful beautiful place- we enjoyed our time to the fullest- I can’t wait to get back out to BHH! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I’ve had better brunches

Jan 11th, 2020

Fancy hotel, fancy cafe, nice decor, great staff and service. However brunch/food could have been nicer. I had the smashed avo/poached eggs with salad. Salad was dry and and not fresh. Presentation of food was standard. For what you pay, I don’t think it was good value. I don’t mind paying for good food, felt it was basic and didn’t live up to the great name. Just my opinion on one visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Every time I visit and stay at the BHH Beautiful rooms, great facilities, wonderful pool. But most off all what makes it special is the great and perfect staff. I love the fountain coffee room for breakfast See you soon TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
