Awesome stay

Mar 27th, 2020

The staff in all departments were wonderful. The amenities were splendid and the ambiance was a delight. The location of the property is a short walk from some great restaurants, museums, and the lake which is nice. I highly recommend staying at this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent stay

I was happy to stay here right before Christmas and all the virus crazy hit. The staff was excellent and I was happily upgraded to one of their suites as a titanium elite. The location is great to get from MDW or ORD on the CTA or walk around the loop or waterfront The executive lounge is alright but grossly undersized for this type of hotel especially in the AM during breakfast. My Favorite Chicago Hotel

Mar 18th, 2020

I recently visited The Blackstone for my second stay. Since I was alone this time, it allowed me the chance to focus on the quality of my stay in itself. During such a strange time as the COVID-19 pandemic in the US, and searching for a new home in the Chicago area, comfort and solace is hard won. I was able to have it, in part, because of the beauty of the hotel as my lodging. The rooms at the Blackstone are comfortable and even luxurious. If you can, try to stay in one of the rooms that allows a view of the Lake. The sunrise from the hotel is magical and truly relaxing. The amenities of the hotel are also fabulous. Restaurants, shops, Navy Pier, museums, Grant Park, Millennium Park, and other activities are all comfortably walkable from here. The Blackstone is artsy and gorgeously whispers its significant Chicago history to its guests. The staff in the hotel are its best secret, though. At each service point, the Blackstone staff was professional, helpful, friendly...even to the point of conversation about the local scene. In particular, I would like to thank Lilly for her help on the day I checked in, times I came to the desk for snacks and information, and even on the day I checked out. Her work is an asset to the hotel and its brand. Thank you for a great stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Happy to return again!

Mar 17th, 2020

Absolutely splendid experience, for the third time. I highly recommend the hotel, and the restaurant - Mercat. Wonderful hotel staff, very well maintained, lovely renovation/restoration (including very interesting contemporary art). Food in the 1600 Club was also very good as was the cleanliness of the space. I would like to thank Christina at the front desk for making our stay memorable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect Hotel

Mar 15th, 2020

Everything was top notch - service and amenities, location. The hotel itself has a lot of character, and the history of the place is quite interesting. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Chicago. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
