Gorgeous, old world hotel in the heart of Oxford. This was a perfect choice. Decorated for Christmas and extra treat! Needed a comfortable hotel after several days of duck hunting and roughing it.... Service was exceptional. Room was lovely with nice linens and bath amenities, Kuerig coffee maker. The bed so comfortable and cozy. Loved everything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our daughter is at Ole Miss and since our initial visit in '16 we have stayed for the most part at The Graduate....and I mostly liked it...but as we had repeatedly experienced the same lapses year to year, through an ever-changing management team, especially with their bar, The Coop, and pointed them out with no correction whatsoever, decided to try the Chancellor's House....was told one time by one of those managers in that revolving door, about 3 managers ago, that the Chancellor's House would be converted to condos, couldn't compete with too few rooms...CH is still here, said Graduate manager is long gone... this was our 2nd stay and I reviewed the first one but it apparently didn't get published...it was very good then and getting better, in part because some of the Graduates staff is now working here....significant upgrade with the bar manager, Lance....a hospitality pro...both Antonette and Jojo excelled at the front desk...football weekends are a mess on the Square, so it's nice to have a spot to eat and drink where you don't have to fight for a table....wish they participated in a reward program but don't see that happening...she graduates this spring so it was maybe our last stay here as it's a long way from Colorado....needed mor space so did airbnb for graduation but will remember the CH fondly TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Amazing hotel and great staff

I stayed at the Chancellors House for a week. The rooms were amazing with a claw foot bathtub and marble showers. The restaurant in the hotel serves food worthy of a Michelin star. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A grade A meal!

Our second visit here and we took some friends with us and it did not disappoint. All of our meals were top notch. The Crap Cakes were full of crab and not a lot or any filler. The Chicken Piccata was off the charts and the steak was great! The Harvest salad and the Wedge were both great ways to start the meal. All in all it was a great meal that was consistent across the board and enjoyed by everyone! Go hungry! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Unmatched Luxury Hotel Experience in Oxford
Aug 4th, 2019
We have a new favorite hotel in Oxford - after staying one night in the Chancellor’s House, we are so excited to have a hotel of this caliber to call home when visiting. The front desk was helpful, accommodating, and exactly as interactive as you would want without being overbearing. Our room was fantastic, and as nice as anything we’ve seen at five star hotels in much larger cities (the large windows we could open were especially great!). And of course, you can’t beat the location right on the square. We look forward to returning soon! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
