Exceptional!

My daughter, her friend, and friend's mom stayed in the George Washington Suite of two rooms one night for my daughter's birthday. Every single person we encountered was genuinely friendly, smiling, and passionate about making sure our Chanler stay was welcoming and top notch! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Simply Perfect!

Dec 31st, 2019

We stayed at the Chanler for a night between Christmas and New Year's Eve to escape the holiday craziness. Every moment was perfect from the moment we arrived. The staff was attentive and friendly, from the valet to the front desk. Mr. Gigs provided a wealth of knowledge on the food & beverages, including some rare Scotches of our personal interest. The evening bartender, Teddy, was a delight! Our room (French Provincial) was well-appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was large and luxurious. The aromatherapy bath options are highly recommended! (It should be noted that the layout of the bathroom makes it slightly difficult to enter/exit the jetted tub, which could be challenging for some.) The views from both the tub and the room itself can't be beat! If we HAD to nitpick, the room is above a rooftop HVAC system so you can't hear the waves crashing on the nearby beach. Dinner at Cara was delicious, as was breakfast at the Cafe. With direct access to the Cliff Walk, the location is incomparable. Our only complaint is that our stay eventually had to come to an end!
