Great location!

Aug 14th, 2020

My family and I recently made a quick trip to St Louis and turned the work trip into a mini adventure. The Cheshire was the perfect location for for it. With just a quick walk, you are at Forest Park and have access to all the fun amenities contained there. It is also just a six min drive to the St Louis Science Center. As for the hotel, they have secure parking, on-site dining, and a friendly staff. My only complaint was with cleanliness. Admittedly, I am pretty picky about cleaning, and though it wasn’t awful, a good mop/sweep/vacuum of the floor really wouldn’t be amiss, nor would a more thorough cleaning of the shower curtain (a few spots of mold won’t kill me, but still...) The Cheshire - Not what I expected

Jul 20th, 2020

Had to travel to St. Louis for a quick business trip. Always wanted to stay in this hotel because of the looks and I I like the bar "Fox and Hound" that is located inside the hotel. The hotel was very safe with COVID 19 but the place was old and outdated. The hotel is suppose to be decorated in 1920 theme and has great history but the place was dirty and old. The hotel's website describes them as a Modern, Luxury boutique Hotel, that is not how I would describe it. It was just not what I expected especially for the cost of the room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our Favorite Hotel in St. Louis

Jul 8th, 2020

We have stayed at the lovely Cheshire 4 or 5 times now. We love the feel of the hotel from the fantastic staff, warm environment, British ambiance and the way we are comfortable there. With a staff like Ben (Manager) who always remembers us and is just so friendly, kind and full of great local destinations, Freddie (front desk) who is so helpful and Chris at the Fox & Hounds who is a great mixologist and very nice, you will feel welcome there. My only complaint is that they stopped using and selling the Deco Candles (that are with the Cheshire logo) that we have come to love and buy one every trip to remember the great time. Such a great conversation piece at our home and we get to relive the amazing time at the Cheshire with that candle. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
