Critic Reviews

Hipsters and young travelers lounge around the casual pool of this stylish hotel. The building itself, with its fun stripes and retro design, is different from the usual Southwest browns and beiges seen around town.

This mid-range boutique is the opposite of a corporate chain, with 1960s retro decor, hip employees and clientele, and a fun atmosphere. The popular Gallo Blanco Cafe and Bar, and the convenient location near downtown Phoenix, draw a devoted fan base.

This place has a great vibe — even if it is filled with a bunch of hipsters! The pool is also pretty cool looking and the rooms are super modern and well-done.

Sleek attitude defines this completely refurbished downtown hotel that, until recently, was better known to the authorities than to paying guests.
