Set in heart of Dublin city. Ideal location for those who want the city at their door step. We had an amazing stay from check in to check out ..10/10. Real calmness about this hotel .. Decor staff and food is truly in a league of its own. Professional yet personal.. highly recommend to dine in restaurant.. food was exquisite.. try the lobster it was amazing. Room was full of character and decorated to very high standard. Everything about this hotel was breathtaking .. it is steeped in real history of Dublin we look forward to returning again. Terrific Location

Aug 6th, 2019

We were looking for something city center in Dublin and found only a handful of options (as a note this was possibly due to reserving within 3 months). However, we were more than satisfied with our choice. Cliff Townhouse had a great central location within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, bars, Trinity College (The Book of Kells), and numerous other sight seeing options. The hotel is historic with loads of charm and well appointed. However, keeping that in mind you will be lugging your luggage up & down the stairway. Also, our son and daughter’s room had leaky water spouts and pipes with very odd, loud and odd noises occurring randomly. Our room however had no issues at all. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and the restaurant, at least for breakfast, was amazing! I am not very much of a breakfast person, but the rest of my family is so we had breakfast all three mornings of our stay. As a note, we did have breakfast included with our lodging stay cost. Their breakfast was delicious!!! Our waiter was absolutely wonderful and was prepping our breakfast with our favorite things by the second morning. You highly recommend the Eggs Benedict & porridge and a wonderful “bread/roll/danish” tray was served with our meal every morning. I would definitely recommend staying at the Cliff Townhouse while staying in Dublin. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just a step out to heart of Dublin City

Jul 22nd, 2019

We enjoyed our trip immensely and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We parked our car in the nearby Stevens Green Shopping Centre at a discount arramged by the Hotel. We enjoyed our walk and picnic across the road in Stevens Green. And I must say that the breakfast was absolutely fabulous. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The reception was very friendly and welcoming and this friendliness continued through out our time there. The restaurant was very well laid out even though it was busy it was still private. The Food was Top Class, with a range of food to suit most tastes .We started with Prawns and followed by Sirloin Steak all cooked to perfection A good selection of wines were available We can highly recommend this restaurant for Great Dining in a very friendly atmosphere TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
