Outstanding but be aware of the nightly charges thatare not quoted in the price

The property is quite charming. It is a collection of homes with individual accommodations in a surrounding garden. It was quite an experience. My only problem was the additional charges added to your bill for-bicycles, tour guide, fire pits, property maintenance and parking. None of which I used except for parking. They should be included in the quote. They should be more up front about the cost of staying here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

What a surprise

Exceptional place. Great little bar on the grounds with a wonderful bartender. The rooms were fabulous. Beside to book direct on their website for extras. Walking distance to the main areas bit away from the crowds. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Collector was everything we hoped for and more. The staff was very accommodating and made you feel special. It was located within walking distance of the sites and shopping. We loved all the amenities and would definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Romantic getaway

This hotel is a gem and exceptional in every regard. The rooms are beautifully decorated, large and spotless and the private grounds are spectacular. One of our favorite features is the hotel bar and outdoor seating. From the warm welcome by John the hotel valet to breakfast on our last day every aspect of this property is very special TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very nice

My wife and I spent only one night here, just a weekend getaway. The property is beautiful and the staff was really great. We stayed in a king suite with the balcony, the room was clean, comfortable and overall we were very happy with our stay here. There was a lot that was within walking distance. This is very beneficial as parking for the fort and old town are not much fun. Only down sides are the walls are a little thin so we were able to hear people in the hall and some folks outside who had rather enjoyed the bar. Everything was pretty settled down by around 1100 so we still got a good night sleep in a very comfortable bed. As an eggs and bacon kind of guy breakfast left a little to be desired but my wife enjoyed the offerings. If you chose to stay here get whatever you need from your car as they park it off site. It sounds more inconvenient than it is. You call down and they get it there within about 10-15 minutes. Less time than trying to park at fort. Mike was working when we were there and he was super nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
