On Campus

Aug 15th, 2019

I was able to stay between semesters. Very quiet and the king bed was comfortable. Very clean with new furnishings. Housekeeping was good. Complimentary breakfast buffet. Outdoor pool. Gift shop. I enjoyed staying on campus. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

LSU campus tour - perfect location to stay!

Aug 11th, 2019

Loved the LSU theme throughout. Room was very clean. Great gift shop with lots of high end LSU merchandise. Cons - our TV didn't work and I missed having a bottle of water in our room. Beds were comfy and breakfast was good. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Reunion at Sports Museum

Jul 22nd, 2019

We had a high school reunion at the Andonie Sports Museum within the Lod Cook complex. The event was really good and in a very nice venue. The Sports Museum is really cool and it has nice lake views. It is a little small but was sufficient for 100 people. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lsu youth football camp

Jun 16th, 2019

Took my godson to football camp and stayed here for the first time, heavily Lsu themed hotel which we both loved, nice clean rooms friendly staff and if you have a function on campus this is the place to be. No restaurant or lounge but easy access to restaurants nearby. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazed! Real accessibility for a change

May 16th, 2019

Traveling with a wheelchair bound companion is never easy. Even when you are told a room will be ADA compliant, you wonder how minimally compliant it will be. There is no need to be concerned when you stay at the Cook Hotel! We stayed in a King Jr. Suite and it was amazing! The hanging rod in the closet was at a height he could reach. The roll in shower had a large fold down seat, not the tiny ones that are usually installed. There was also a portable bench he could use. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
