This is my second stay at The Dean and it was amazing. The rooms are spacious. The decor is lovely, and the staff is absolutely amazing, they’re all so nice. Including the management. I always enjoy my stay here. Can’t wait to come back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Stylish hotel with great service but some caution on booking

Hotel is beautiful with lots of details. Room with full size bed seems to be great for one person lodge, but the shower is extremely tight and limited location to set up AC unit blows air directly to foot of bed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

So I normally love this hotel and normally have a speedy check in and no complaints. However this time I had a problem with the 2 staff members that working at night they were very slow at responding when calling down to the desk I had to call multiple times then the ac in the suite I had was not working well so I asked for a fan and they brought one 2 hours later even with that the room didnt get cool I ended up leaving and staying at nearby hotel.i would like to come back but only if the things such as customer service has changed. I travel alot and hopefully these things will change so I can return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great as always. We love it here and will keep coming back. We love how close the hotel is to everything we want to do: bars, restaurants, parks, museums (once open again), etc. The staff at the Dean is terrific too: extremely helpful and friendly. Wonderful experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Friendly, Hipster Hotel in a Great Location
Jun 22nd, 2020
My visit was during Phase 2 of the coronavirus reopening, so it wouldn't be typical. The Bolt coffee bar, for instance, was closed. The hotel is delightfully stylish, mixing historic, antique elements with modern high design. The bathroom was small, reminding me of European hotels. The bed was super comfy, with gleaming white sheets and comforter. The best part, though, was that the hotel offers bikes to use. I was in Providence visiting my son and a long bike ride made for a perfect "social distancing" visit during the pandemic. My only complaint was that the window air-conditioner was noisy. And my only suggestion would be to put little coffee makers in the rooms, like many hotels have, while the Bolt coffee shop is closed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
