Overview

Customer service is top-notch at this Hilton outpost
Few amenities sit within walking distance of the resort
This sprawling complex overflows with luxurious facilities, such as two outdoor pools lined with lounge chairs and cabanas, four restaurants and the 17,000-square-foot Diplomat Spa + Wellness. Along with high-end amenities, this resort also boasts well-appointed rooms and suites outfitted with separate glass-enclosed showers and soaking tubs, Wi-Fi access (which the $35 daily resort fee covers), 55-inch flat-screen TVs and furnished balconies with views of the ocean or Intracoastal Waterway. The guest rooms received a thumbs-up for comfort and style, but recent guests mostly praised the customer service, citing the staff's friendliness and eagerness to help as a reason to return. (The oceanfront views aren't too shabby, either.) But convenience is something this resort lacks: The Diplomat Beach Resort Hollywood is about 10 miles southeast of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. And thanks to this Curio property's Hilton ties, if you're a Hilton Honors, you can use and earn points here.
