Great hotel in Downtown Portland

Pretty cool boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Portland. Luxury amenities and accommodation at reasonable prices. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Turntable and records available upon request! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved, loved this hotel!

This hotel is first class from the moment you enter the door to when you leave. I will definitely be back, great part of town if you are traveling alone. Very comfortable with shopping and restaurants around. Close enough for a walk down to the water. Great business or casual place to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Hotel and excellent service.

Was in town with friends for the weekend. First time at the Duniway and will not be the last. Chelsy at the front desk was exceptional. She gave us great recommendations for dinner and drinks. Great location, convenient parking and well appointed rooms. The tv in the room is HUGE! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Hotel and Service

I just stayed at the Duniway Portland for 7 days for a business trip and I have to say, the service was excellent. From the Valet, to the Bartender, the Front Desk, to the wait staff at Jack Rabbits. Exceptional on all counts. The meal at Jack Rabbits was outstanding and our server was so knowledgeable with an owner's mentality. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to leisure travelers as well as business travelers. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Subpar service and poor value for the price

This is the first time I’m writing a review on hotel. Why? Because it’s so horrible that I can’t stand it anymore. Where to start? 1. I had a top floor king room reserved for 3 nights. On the day I arrived and ready to unwind from 4-hour flight, I was horrified to find muddy spots on the bed sheet. I don’t want to speculate what those spots are. I called the front desk immediately. I was promised a new room immediately but waited for 30+min for them to find a new room. The new room turned out to be on a much lower floor and a smaller room. The front desk did not mention any type of compensation or price adjustment until I asked about the rate difference. They offered $25 breakfast credit for ONE night. 2. They put someone else dining charge on my room. When I found out and called them after checking out, they told me they will correct it and send the updated receipt to me. I called last Friday morning, but didn’t recent anything on Friday, so I messaged the hotel on the Hilton app on Saturday and was promised again to expect the email soon. It’s Sunday now and still nothing. From what I can see on the app, the receipt still has the wrong charge. Am I overreacting or is this something not acceptable when you are paint $400+ per night?
