We had the pleasure of staying at the perfectly located, charming, historic, beautiful Emily Morgan hotel. Our check-in process was smooth and our room had views of The Alamo and the post office and gave me historic London vibes! The hotel is perfectly located a walking distance from not only the historic Alamo, but the River walk and a whole array of restaurants and shops. Even in the mix of ‘rona’, the excellent customer service never fluctuated and we are very thankful to the Emily Morgan team! Shout out to the General Manager Kole Siefken who even took the time to tell us the historic story of the building, haunted stories and gave us a tour! We highly recommend Emily Morgan for a stay! Spooky yet an excellent stay

We chose the Emily Morgan because of the ghost stories. We didn’t stay on the most active floors because no rooms were available, but we did stay on the 11th floor and experienced stuff. The first night our 9 year old woke us up because he was hearing things and something kept touching his foot and back. We made him go back to sleep because there was nothing there. Well the next night I kept getting the sensation of something sitting on my feet, it was so pronounced it would wake me up out of a dead sleep. I finally curled in a ball and scooted right up on my husband. A friend staying with us In another room wanted to check out the 7th floor, we heard screams from the elevator and then it took us to 9 on its own and we heard loud bangs yet no one was out there. It was crazy. The hotel is beautiful and very up to date, the beds were so comfortable and it was very clean. Also you can get a room with an Alamo view. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to San Antonio. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Use to be GREAT hotel. Now the service sucks!

Arrived today (8/29) at 1pm. We have stayed at this hotel many times before, and absolutely loved it. We picked this hotel as our San Antonio hotel for visiting our family and grandchildren. TODAY IT SUCKS. No valet to park the car. No one to help with the luggage. No Bar. No food. This hotel wants to be a 4 or 5 star hotel, but its service is non-existent. When I asked to speak with the manager, was told by front desk that the manager was not on duty until 3PM. NO MANAGER. How do you have a hotel or any public business without someone there to handle problems and take some responsibility? I realize we are in the middle of a pandemic. Either discount the room prices or provide the service. NOT RECOMMENDED AT THIS TIME. WAY BELOW HILTON STANDARDS. . TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
This hotel is fantastic.

This hotel is fantastic. The service agent was really slow but the rooms and the hotel are fantastic. The rooms are all safety sealed off as they are cleaned to ensure no one enters prior to you entering. One of the elevators did get stuck between 12 & 14 but not sure if that was intentional as the hotel is haunted and those two floors are the haunted floors. Roof top pool was clean and well maintained :) The location is ideal - right across from the Alamo, within walking distance to everything. We would definitely stay here again... one night was just not enough to enjoy everything. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
2020 TX State Boys Basketball Tourney

This was the team hotel, and all I can say is I loved it! Not going to repeat what others have stated but I will say that room 1108 (King, Jr Suite, Garden tub) was spectacular. Views from both sides of the street, as it directly in the point of the building. One side is the Alamo and the other is a federal building of some kind. Great customer service and of course, great cookies. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
