Great hotel to enjoy the Whitefish area!

Feb 25th, 2021

We stayed at the Firebrand last month on a two week road trip. The hotel was great, the interior is styled really nicely - lots of high end finishes and pretty decor. The staff were all really friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was very clean and well appointed - we booked one of the skyline rooms with a fireplace and extra sitting area which was great to relax and enjoy at the end of our day. It was the polar vortex week so extremely cold but we were still able to go up to the rooftop and enjoy the hot tub up there which was awesome. The restaurant on site is also really good, great food, great service and really tasty drinks. We had dinner there one night and breakfast both days we were there. Their location is great right in town, we were able to easily walk around and enjoy the shops and restaurants nearby. Whether you're visiting in summer to head out to hike and see Glacier or visiting in winter to ski this is a great spot to stay - highly recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Winter Get-a-way

Feb 16th, 2021

We stayed super busy around Whitefish and the Firebrand Hotel is perfectly located. One block from the train depot, on the ski bus route, and nearby to all the best restaurants. The hotel has an elegant western chic vibe with a staff who aim to please. And did I mention the rooftop hot tub?! After checking out and traveling a short ways to Swan Mountain Outfitters to enjoy a snow mobile tour (which I recommend), we ended up with a helmet and expensive avalanche beacon. The outfitters office was closed and we had a train to catch. Worried, we returned to the Firebrand and Bethany took all the information and said she would hold the gear for pickup or she would deliver. She wouldn't take a tip!! Wow! That's great service. We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Can’t say enough about the manager Bethany! We are a family of 5 and she went out of her way to make special accommodations for me and my family. She even helped book our excursions while we are here!!! So friendly SO helpful and we feel so blessed! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sheets not changed. Hairs and stains

Feb 3rd, 2021

Housekeeping is not in the habit of changing sheets out when cleaning rooms. On two separate occasions, I checked into my room to find black hairs and stains in my bed. The hallways and elevators need vacuuming and sheets need to be picked up on a regular basis when placed outside a room. The overall impression is that the hotel is dirty. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Firebrand to the Rescue

Dec 15th, 2020

My husband and I were visiting Whitefish during unique circumstances: a relative in the area had passed away, and we were just about to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. This trip was booked on a whim in an effort to settle family matters, and we had reservations at another hotel, that shall go unnamed, as it was awful. With heavy hearts, and spinning minds, we searched for a "replacement" hotel, and landed on this one, and are SO glad we did. From the moment we stepped into The Firebrand we were welcomed warmly by Margaret who got us squared away with last-minute reservations, provided insight into the area, and checked in on us during our stay. Every individual we encountered at this wonderful establishment was a delight to interact with. Our room was PERFECT. Their restaurant offers a variety of DELICIOUS creations throughout the day. The live music we enjoyed Saturday night comforted our weary souls. We received warm anniversary greetings from the team, which was so touching - turning a bittersweet trip into one of kind cheer. Bottom line: every minute we were in The Firebrand was a warm embrace. Many MANY thanks to the entire team. When we visit Whitefish in the future, we'll be staying at The Firebrand.
