A beautiful hotel with amazing service!

As we walked through the door at the Fitzwilliam we were greeting by the concierge, helped to our rooms, and welcomed so kindly. The rooms were amazing. I'll start with the bathroom, it was so lovely appointed and they added extra special touches. It had a shower and a deep tub. The amenities were great, including a candle to light for a romantic bath! The beds were comfortable and we were very happy there. I loved the way the decorated, it felt like we were in the lap of luxury. There was a convenience store across the street and bars all over the place! We had a delightful time and I would go back in a split minute! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Customer Experience with Exceptional 5* Star Service

Mar 19th, 2020

My partner and I recently stayed at the Fitzwilliam Hotel for a mid week break. I was staying one night in between a lot of traveling and my partner was so delighted to see me he booked the surprise knowing I'd want a good sleep before another long day of traveling. Everything was great until the morning. There was a lot of building work going on next door in the Grand Opera House. I spoke to Chloe on reception who was extremely helpful. When the noise continued she put me through to Victoria, the manager. She explained the situation with the building work and apologized for the disruption. They made some wonderful amendments for us so that we would not be bothered by the disturbances further to insure I had a good morning's sleep. I can't tell you how grateful I was for how the situation was handled. It really made for an excellent stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, especially knowing how efficiently they dealt with a problem that was not their fault. We will definitely be back! Thank you Chloe and thank you Victoria. Simply superb

An outstanding hotel where the attention to detail, service and quality is clearly streaks ahead of anything else in the city (we’re speaking as locals and staycation fanatics!). We stayed in a beautiful junior suite with so many stylish finishing touches, there’s also a beautifully-run bar and most of all a very friendly welcome. Hotel perfection, really. Note that the hotel is in a city centre location but valet parking is available. The hotel is extremely close to Gt Victoria St train/ bus station. Highly, highly recommended. Although a very different hotel, it probably stands joint first place with Bishops Gate in Derry as NI’s best hotel option unless you are looking for a resort or out of town type accommodation.
