Critic Reviews

Lonely Planet

A slightly seedy location is the bane of this otherwise solid performer's existence, although all that should change in the next few years as nearby condo projects reach completion. A variety of room types up to two-bedroom suites all have free wi-fi, kitchenettes and marble bathrooms.

Dramatic exterior stairs sweep up to the entryway, leading to a dated but spacious lobby. Relax in the indoor pool, surrounded by neoclassical murals, or browse through the hotel's 24-hour gift shop. There's a rooftop patio garden with gazebo and heated whirlpools on the rooftop terrace with views of Lake Ontario.
