Best place to stay for Graceland

Nov 21st, 2019

From the moment we checked in, ALL the staff, were wonderful. We spoke to Dolores at the Information desk, with our hundreds of questions, and she gave us the best help. Paul, our airport shuttle driver, was friendly and went out of his way to offer help. Corinne, our Graceland shuttle driver, asked if anyone had a birthday. She sang Happy Birthday to our mother and what a wonderful voice !!! I can't remember all the names of the staff we came in contact with, but they were all the best and made our stay so comfortable. If you are planning a trip to Graceland, which is next door, or to see Memphis.....this IS the place to stay !! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Deep South second stop

Nov 20th, 2019

The Guest House was the second stop on my bucket list trip to the Deep South, and followed a couple of nights in Nashville. I travelled to Memphis by Greyhound coach - not for the faint hearted but uneventful. Another Uber taxi from the coach station - Uber is so very easy and efficient. I was staggered by the Guest House at Graceland. It’s very imposing, and sits in spacious grounds, but the reception staff were very welcoming and put me at ease very quickly. Everything is, of course, centred on Elvis - Graceland is literally just across the road - from the gift shop to Elvis films on a big screen on the patio. Heaven for the many ardent fans. And Graceland is an experience that needs more space than I have here. Suffice to say it’s unmissable. The mansion is amazing, the museums fascinating, but just a bit to much memorabilia on sale for my taste. My room was excellent, very comfortably equipped and with a very spacious bathroom with a huge shower, big tv and tea and coffee. The hotel restaurant was equally good, and breakfast particularly so. The hotel offers free transport into and back from Beale Street in Memphis centre; this is an excellent service. Typical of the South, everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, and I thoroughly enjoyed my two nights/three days. I’d happily stay here again - even if I’m not a massive Elvis fan! My thanks to the hotel for a really enjoyable and memorable stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Attention to detail in decor and convenience to Graceland and Airport with Free Shuttle Service...

Nov 19th, 2019

A TREMENDOUS SHOUT OUT to Mary the Front Desk Manager...We had booked a specific special Suite through one of our Credit Card Concierges...It ended up it was not explained properly and we did not get the room as described...Mary personally came up to our Room and showed us the other options ensuring we got the room we requested...She went above and beyond throughout our stay there, they are very lucky to have here... Lovely hotel

Nov 18th, 2019

Very nice hotel. Everything is extravagant and over the top as you would only expect from anything Elvis. We were only there one night so didn't get to experience a lot about the hotel. We did not eat in the restaurants. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The sheets were soft and mattress firm. I never could get the water adjusted in the shower, not really sure how it works, but water is very hot!! Housekeeping could pay a little closer attention to cleaning. Overall I would stay again and recommend for your Elvis experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel

Nov 18th, 2019

Great hotel, lovely big rooms.bit expensive for breakfast tho. It does charge a resort fee of 13.50 dollars per night. But very nice and in walking distance of Gracelands. It does provide a shuttle for people who can't walk too well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
