Wonderful Bed & Breakfast Stay!

Nov 12th, 2019

We stayed here early November and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms all have interior and exterior entrances. Our spacious room had a huge king bed with a comfortable mattress and fluffy comforter. There was quite a bit of space in the room and the bathroom was very nice. Even the shower had a huge showerhead as well as two horizontal jets if you choose. We enjoyed a nice breakfast that morning of melon and blueberry crepes. (The menu changes daily.) We sat and ate while we talked with the Owner Bob about the B&B and lots of other local information. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone coming to Fort Myers. You won't regret your decision! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Charming Bed and Breakfast

Oct 29th, 2019

We stayed in the Periwinkle Room for three nights at the Hibiscus House Bed and Breakfast recently and we could not be happier with our choice. In equal order of importance: The owners, Bob and Colleen, were welcoming and very friendly. The two-course breakfasts were delicious and filling. When we arrived we told Bob we had a morning appointment that was several miles away on Tuesday. He accommodated us by serving our breakfast earlier so we would not be late for the appointment. The common room and dining rooms were beautifully decorated for the season. I can only imagine how festive it will look at Christmas time. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were fantastic. The location is close to the Edison Ford Winter Estates and downtown Fort Myers for shopping and dining. The private parking area is a definite bonus and there is Publix grocery store across the street. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome!

I don't often give five stars but the place is great and the owners are amazing. Our room was large, super clean, well appointed, and made for relaxing. There were places to relax throughout, including a hammock in the back. Owner was AMAZING. Provided chairs and towels for the beach. Can't wait to go back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Anniversary Celebration

Oct 7th, 2019

Very quick one night stay.. Wish it could have been longer. By the time we go there it was about 8:30, the place is quaint and very olde Florida, love it!!! The breakfast was delicious!!! Comfortable night sleep cute little Verandah to sit outside. DEFINITELY will be back!!! My only negative which is minor, is that we were Celebrating our Anniversary, so would have been nice to have a little personal touch in the room, maybe a card with our names on it and best wishes, a little box of chocolates, etc., just for that added extra touch to signify the day! Other than that if you haven't been here yet, you need to book it right now, and walking distance to downtown, its just absolutely sweet hidden gem in the midst of it all! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful!

Oct 6th, 2019

My teen son and I stayed at the Hibiscus House while in Fort Myers for a baseball tournament. We loved the vibe of the old house—so charming—and our room was luxurious, clean, and comfortable. Bob, the innkeeper, was a wonderful host. He made our late night arrival smooth and kindly offered us a late checkout so that we could clean up after the final baseball game. We had to be out the door early every morning before breakfast, but Bob packed us morning snacks to take with us. Such a friendly, welcoming place. We’ll stay again if we’re back in Fort Myers.
