Disappointing

I understand the Covid issue but not cleaning the room for a two day stay, but also very superficial cleaning from the previous guest for this hotel which normally delivers high quality service is disappointing. Also bed the person managing breakfast room who, after meeting in the corridor an old client hugs him and back to the dining room arranged displayed products without disinfecting hands or wearing gloves TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Still a breathtaking hotel in corona period

Hotel is clean, still breathing luxury and comfort. Rooms are excellent and all at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and that was reflected in the poor service at breakfast. 30 minutes for some scrambled eggs, waiting for cheese, bread, etc.. Never experienced that at this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Hotel in the Best Location

I had an amazing time at The Hotel Brussels. I was traveling in December solo from the US. I was originally going to stay in another hotel, but I heard reviews that sounded not so safe for a female traveling alone. So I found this hotel. The room was gorgeous and big. I loved the view from the room, and being on a corner room. It was also great to have that couch next to the window. I loved how you could control the lights and open/close the window from the comfort of your bed. There were also great amenities in the room, like nice TV, lovely toiletries, and a generous amount of free drinks in the room. The room was also very quiet, which I found surprising because when I was in the hall i found there were people in the rooms next to me. The walls were very soundproof. The bed was also extremely comfortable. The hotel had delicious breakfast! I usually don't eat breakfast every at a hotel, but it was well worth the cost. The buffet consisted of a large amount of delicious options. I was happy to find foods I could eat because I eat gluten-free. The restaurant, along with the hotel as a whole, has gorgeous furniture and decorations. The staff is also incredibly nice. When I first got there, I came well early from the check-in time. I expected to just drop my bags off and have to wait for a room, but they were able to find me an open, ready room right away. They were also very helpful when asking for directions. The location of the hotel is great. I went on some tours of Brussels, and the tour buses had stops right around the corner from the hotel. It was also so easy to walk to every attraction in the city from the area. There are very nice shops and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. It's also very close to the train, and I was able to take a cheap uber from the hotel to get to there so i could go to Bruges. The hotel is also a short trip from the airport. The Hotel Brussels was a great experience and place for me to stay. I have nothing negative at all to say about this hotel. I would 100% recommend to anyone traveling to Brussels. I am wishing I could go back again soon, but hopefully once COVID is over!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I was in Brussels to visit Friends !. So I took THE HOTEL because i was curious and because of the Location! I cant really judge because the Hotel was not at it best because of the situation! But it was ok TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Booking desk does not answer to email after cancellation

This review talks about booking/cancellation experience during summer 2020. I had made a reservation in this hotel trough their website but unfortunately had to cancel on the same day. I did notify the hotel before 6PM which is the condition to cancel free of charge. This is stated in booking confirmation email. It has been two weeks and I'm still waiting for an answer on my emails from their booking desk. No sign of reimbursement either. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
