BEST ALASKA RESORT

This resort is amazing and the views and staff are incredible. Definitely worth every penny! We stayed in the royal suite and there are no words on how they treated us, we would recommend staying here for sure! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful resort with excellent food, friendly staff and wonderful hiking trails. Looking forward to returning maybe for a skiing trip this winter and enjoying the resort for another visit. We stayed at the Alyeska Resort on our way to Fox Island because we wanted to check out the resort before booking a ski vacation. The hotel was very clean and we had no worries over the Covid 19 health concerns as the resort was on top of all protocols for social distancing and cleanliness. Wish we could have stayed longer. Awesome place to visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had an issue with our room the first night but when mentioned to management, the issue was dealt with immediately. They exceeded our expectations and the weekend was absolutely wonderful. The views, the hikes, the food - it was all exceptional. We cannot thank the management enough for their attentiveness. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Stay Amidst Covid Precautions
Aug 23rd, 2020
The historic Hotel Alyeska is a very nice resort. The rooms are spacious. Our king bed was extremely comfortable. Strong WiFi signals at no additional cost could be found throughout the facility and in our room. The outdoor propane/gas fire pit was nice to sit by with our favor beverage during later evening hours while enjoying the sunset. Covid precautions have necessitated the closure of the pool, fitness center, and limited hours at most onsite restaurants. I believe the closure of these services are sufficient enough for the hotel to not charge clients the $20 daily resort fee assessed above your nightly room charge, but Alyeska is indeed still charging the $20 daily resort fee (thus a 4-star rating based on 'value'). Other than this, my wife and I would certainly stay here again when visiting Girdwood in the future. The location of the hotel is close to the 'new site Girdwood City' (the current location of Girdwood, about a mile from the resort, as compared to pre-1960s Girdwood located closer to the coastal highway). Almost forgot - Alyeska continues to provide daily housekeeping services amidst Covid, something our hotel in Seward and Juneau had stopped providing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
