Giving a bad review is never easy, because #$%^ flows downhill. So I'm going to tip toe around the issues, for there are far too many to list. The problem is with the ownership & management who apparently are focused on milking this neglected golden calf and not at all on customer care.. Never mind everything that was wrong with the room. Look, I'd definitely give it a stay for the historic value/vibe. But never, ever again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
I love this hotel

It was the first time we stayed at this beautiful, historic hotel in downtown of Regina. We were upgraded to the Ambassador Suite facing Victoria Park with a gorgeous view of the park and city centre. The suite was clean, spacious, beautiful and comfortable. The king size bed was firm and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It has two TV's pne in sitting room and one in the bedroom. The washroom has a tiny wall light turned on 24 hours that is helpful for guests to go to the washroom at night. Unlike other hotels, the room's heating system was fast and responsive. The sad part was due to Covid 19, the restaurant, spa and room service were closed. Otherwise we would have enjoyed the food and drink service. There were two things we would like to suggest for our room. 1. The brightness of the TV in the sitting area was dark and there was no buttons we could find on the remote control to adjust it. 2. The area around the toilet seat is tight. My elbow would fight for space with the toilet paper holder. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Was really happy with our stay at Hotel Saskatchewan. The gentleman at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. We were there for our honeymoon/one year anniversary so they upgraded us to a suite which was gorgeous. The hotel was very clean and modern but still had the feel of an "old" hotel. Rooms were very spacious. Was in a great location and we were able to walk around downtown. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Regina. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect location for a visit to Regina

The original CN Rail hotel in Regina, the Hotel Saskatchewan is arguably the best hotel in town. It has character, a great location right across from Victoria park and a short stroll to the heart of Regina and plenty of dining and shopping options. The rooms have been updated, are impeccably clean and quiet. Service from the staff is excellent. When we stayed in early August the hotel restaurant and bar were closed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We spent two nights here while on a road trip throughout Saskatchewan and were very impressed with the helpful and friendly staff and in particular, Colin, who was a wealth of information and very kindly helped us with our bags on arrival. We had a lovely corner room. My only beef with the room was that it overlooked the parking lot and the airconditioning units...one would think that they could have found another corner room considering that the hotel was virtually empty. The closet was massive — a small bed would fit! The bathroom while updated in every way was tiny. If one is a big person one would have difficulty fitting into the space...The hotel is located in the heart of the city and is within walking distance of restaurants and sights. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
