Rude staff and customer service
Oct 14th, 2020
We checked out of the hotel 6:45 am, we had a cart loaded with luggage, which we loaded ourself due to COVID. My husband tried to pull the car up to the front entrance of the hotel to find a car parked right in front of the door. I ask front desk lady, do you know if this car will be moving soon? She yes, it's one of our employees, waited about 5 more minutes and ask again if the employee was going to move the car, she said yes. 5 more minutes went by and my husband come in ask what the problem is, the front desk lady said the employee was finishing her shift and would move it then. So, a little after 7am the employee came out of the back office and made a rude remark to my husband about rushing her to move the vehicle. She took her time, opened all her car doors put stuff in the car, and left. Who treats hotel guest like this... When is it ok for hotel employees to park their vehicle in front driveway of the hotel? Will not ever stay at this hotel again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Needs updating and staff training

Good, quiet location if you do not mind a short walk to town. However, even with the overall high prices in Telluride, this hotel does not seem like good value for the $. We booked a "Deluxe King" (room 221) and got probably the only room in the hotel without a window (besides the patio door). Right above the side entrance. Not sure - when you are only allowed 50% COVID occupancy - why you would book it. TV stand and coffee table all dinged up - scratched and looked like they were from a yard sale. Sofa sagging and worn. On the positive side - the bed was very comfortable! Bathroom was less luxurious than a Holiday inn. Website says "designer toileteries" but what you get is drug store quality. Bring your own! Bathroom has paneling on the walls by the toilet - just looked dated and dirty. We used the hotel bikes - chain fell off during the rides. Seems like the management should spend some money on this place. Front desk staff not welcoming or energetic. Seemed like we were bothering them with every interaction. Breakfast was unpredictable - one chef was good the other we had to send back food. Better places in town to eat if you dont mind the morning walk. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great location just a short walk to town.... no noise!

We spent two nights here in Telluride and enjoyed the location, the comfort of our room and the lobby, breakfast and the very friendly staff. The balcony with two chairs to relax and enjoy the Mountain View was delightful. Our room was very clean, supplied with plenty of towels, coffee, etc. we only ate breakfast here, but it was very good and reasonably priced. The lobby is very relaxing and provides plenty of space to spread out. The hotel is very compliant with Covid regulations as is the whole town of Telluride. They want to keep the spread of the virus to zero. They do charge for parking, but Telluride parking is limited so take advantage of having a space. We actually walked everywhere and never moved from our space. Stay here for a quiet night’s sleep. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Best hotel in Telluride
Aug 31st, 2020
We have stayed here twice now, once during the winter ski season and now during the summer hiking season. Both times have been more than amazing. The service while at the hotel has been far beyond what we expected with the front desk accommodating whatever we may need during our stay and the personal and private chauffeur to take us anywhere we want to go. This has been our go-to place to stay while in telluride. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay during your trip The Hotel Telluride is the place to be. We couldn’t ask for a better hotel to add to a romantic and relaxing trip while exploring all that telluride has to offer! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect spot *BRING YOUR DOG!*
Aug 21st, 2020
Really enjoyed staying here. Had a nice deck to watch the mountains. Walkable to the town. Was really bummed we did not bring our dog since the hotel reviews said dogs allowed but not on many of the trails. That turned out to be totally wrong. Dogs were abundant on several of the top hikes (Bridal Veil Falls and Bear Creek Falls). This town is the most dog friendly I’ve seen ever. Lots of places to eat outside with your BFF dog at your side. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
