lovely location, excellent breakfasts

Mar 26th, 2020

Land’s End is a good-sized suite but the location of the bathroom and wardrobe, in the private “corridor” outside the bedroom, is rather inconvenient. At the end of this corridor is a door that opens into the hotel carpark. There is glass in the middle of this door which needs opaque curtains for privacy. There are a few parking spaces in front of the hotel but the rear carpark is more convenient for loading/unloading of luggage. There is no lift so guests with mobility concerns should ask for rooms on the same level as the rear carpark. Enjoyed the breakfasts. Location within walking distance of many restaurants. The nearby Hoe Park is great for early morning walks. Amiable hosts. Loved the wide selection of books. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Brilliant!

My girlfriend and I spent a night here for our anniversary. The service was excellent, the room was spacious and comfortable, and we had free parking. We enjoyed our stay very much and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Birthday Treat

Mar 14th, 2020

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It's well-placed for the City Centre and the Barbican. It has some off-road car parking, most of which is to the rear of the hotel. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was very quiet, we never heard any of the other guests or staff moving around. Breakfast was excellent and the service was great. The only let down, was the TV and unfortunately being the weekend they couldn't get anyone out to repair it. This did not detract in anyway to our stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent

I cannot fault our stay here. Easy to find, convenient parking, close to the Hoe, the Pavilion and the place we had decided to eat in the evening. We were very warmly welcomed and shown to a really comfortable room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast this morning was just right with all my needs and wants met. I would very happily return here. Great Central Location

I am a solo traveller and frequently get charged the double or twin rate per room. The Imperial has dedicated single rooms at a very reasonable price. Arriving in the middle of storm 'Dennis' I received a very warm welcome. The accomodation was spotless with instant hot water. The breakfast was of a very high standard with happy smiling staff. Located within walking distance of some of Plymouths more famous attractions, the Hoe, The Barbican and City Centre a perfect location to explore Plymouth TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
