Perfection on all fronts
Jan 10th, 2021
First it's important to point out that Richard and the Inn at Entrada team are doing an exceptional job running this property safely, yet with white glove service despite the many limitations presented by the Covid 19 era. Now, this property is perfection. It's set on the very edge of town, in a quiet, up-and-coming new area. Each casita-like unit has beautiful views everywhere you look. The set-up inside with fireplace and fireside chairs is cozy. The private, attached one-car garage is a huge bonus. Big bathroom with separate shower/tub. Nice free-standing spa/fitness center and indoor + outdoor pools. Nice Troon-quality clubhouse for the golf course with a restaurant, pro shop and snack bar. The Inn sits inside the gates of the Entrada development, making the setting quiet and secure. The drive to Zion is about 45 - 60 minutes. Don't neglect Snow Canyon, which is walking distance or a very short drive from Entrada. We walked 8 of the Snow Canyon trails and there was more to see. St George itself is a robust enough town that pretty much anything you want/need is a short drive away. Can't recommend this place enough. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Best Accomodations - worth the price

Accommodations at The Inn at Entrada cannot be beat, whether you stay at a casita or 2 bedroom suite. The location is perfect; the rooms are the most technological I have ever stayed at - there’s a button for shades up/down, fireplace, accent lighting – even one labeled “Good Night” at bedside that shuts everything off! The bathroom (with tub jets) is to die for! Then top it off with privileges to the clubhouse, restaurant and fantastic gold course! If you’re staying in St George, then staying at the Inn at Entrada is a must! A night stay is a bit pricey...but well worth it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Wow! Unexpected surprise!

We decided to take advantage of covid and do a safe road trip to S UT to experience the National Parks near St. George. I read the reviews on Trip Advisor about Entrada and gave it a chance. Not only did it meet my expectations, it exceeded it. Richard, the GM, was attentive and asked how our stay was. Who does that? Our casita was super clean and views were amazing. So much to see and do so close to Mother Natures amazing beauty. Golf course is being renovated so I’d skip it for future trip. Lots of other great courses close by. Can’t say enough positive things about all of the staff at Entrada. We will definitely return TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
If you enjoy dump trucks you will love The Inn at Entrada...
Nov 20th, 2020
My husband and I recently took a break from Utah's northern weather for a birthday escape to St. George for a few days. We chose to stay at The Inn at Entrada where we have stayed before a few times. The entry to Entrada is very hard to find at night since for whatever reason they do not turn on the exterior lighting which would light up the sign at the entry. While the 1 bedroom unit itself was lovely in most ways, the location of #3203 was like vacationing on at job construction site. In addition to the usual golf course maintenance sounds, there apparently is a construction site nearby and two dump trucks went in and out all day each weekday starting at 7am (perhaps 20 trips each?) and through the main entry gate and driving past the The Inn at Entrada units. All this trucking activity did not enhance our enjoyment of a unit we were paying approx. $250 nightly for. Isn't there a different entry construction vehicles could use? Not my idea of "Our incredible and unique townhomes are the perfect experience for a peaceful and relaxing vacation" as advertised. When we arrived I emptied the dishwasher of clean dishes housekeeping had left for us. Since the dishes are rarely washed by hand, only run through the dishwasher, a couple dished and several pieces of the mismatched cheap silverware have crude which is baked on. Lots of mismatched wine glasses but no other glass ware other than coffee mugs. The unit can be rented as a 2 bedroom if wanted but had only 3 mismatched forks in the kitchen. All of the paper products throughout the unit were of the cheapest quality... toilet paper so thin you could see through it so 4x as much was needed to get the job done. The rug in the bedroom was filthy and turned my feet black if I walked on it bare foot. The bathroom had a very fancy shower with duel shower heads, but the water pressure is so ridiculously low that you couldn't get a satisfying shower. The water temperature was not very hot and we turned up the water heater from tepid to hot so there would be enough hot water to fill the vast bathtub. Some of the beautiful accent lighting did not work in the living room and overhead light bulbs throughout the unit were mismatched... some florescent and some l.e.d. creating inconsistent lighting. I know these are all picky little complaints but it all adds up to... this is not a luxury resort. These are nice condominiums with lots of unnecessary noise, cheap supplies and little attention to detail by the management. We will be looking for other lodging for our next visit to St. George area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

During the current Covid pandemic my husband and I have had to make frequent trips within the U.S. I researched where to stay in St. George, Utah and decided upon Entrada Inn after reading the positive reviews. Thus far we have stayed there twice this year. Entrada is set within a golf course with larger private residences and privately owned studio apartment or casitas' which are rented out. I believe these apartments feature one or larger bedrooms. We only needed a one bedroom. There is a gym and large pool and restaurant. The first time we stayed we were pleasantly surprised. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a friendly, very nice woman whom we got to know as Lisa. She explained that at that time they were not offering housekeeping but we could ask for whatever we needed from reception. There is also a Keurig machine in this area where guests may help themselves to coffee, tea or bottled water. Short visit so not a problem with no housekeeping. While coming from CA we wore masks but at that time, I saw no staff wearing masks. However, on our second trip The Governor had mandated masks was not optional. Each studio features a one car garage, perfect for the hot temperatures during the summer. Entering the room, there is a small sink, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. Cutlery and dishes for two in the cupboards. A tall island with two stools, a large king sized bed, large tv with cable, electric fireplace and electric drapes. There are two large leather chairs with ottoman. The bathroom is large with a separate toilet, along with a little makeup area, jetted tub and shower with good water pressure. Outside there is a small patio equipped with a table and chairs. The casita was clean and the bed and chairs very comfortable. We liked the place very much and had no problems. When we needed extra linens there was a very short walk to the office where these were provided by a smiling Lisa. There is also a restaurant where we ate and the food and service were good. We recently had to return to St. George and while the casita where we had previously stayed was not available we were told that the one we were going to stay in was equally nice with a view of the course and water. Again no housekeeping services were available. I was a little disappointed in this as we have had to travel frequently during Covid and every hotel we have stayed at offered guests to opt in or out of housekeeping. But again, a short three night stay should be no problem. I do wish that we could have left bagged trash curbside for daily pick up. This time, the casita was a little sad with covers missing on the returns and not quite as clean as I expected. We had lots of appointments during our visit and had to be up and out early each day. I would have liked that when we vacated daily, housekeeping, wearing proper protective gear, would come and clean but that was not an option. When we got into bed the first night, my side immediately sloped to one side, was lumpy and I felt springs in my back and no matter how I moved was unable to sleep. My sweet husband had no problem and offered to exchange sides. As I do not work and he is very busy, he needs his sleep so would not take him up on his offer. Night two I hoped the previous night was a fluke and I would be able to sleep. No such luck. My husband tried my side of the bed and agreed that the mattress was lopsided, dipped in the middle and my side uncomfortable and lumpy. In the am I had back and muscle aches and was miserable. I went to the office for coffee and fresh washcloths and was met with a gentlemen (unmasked) I was not familiar with. I explained to him how uncomfortable the mattress was and he immediately responded. "well, no-one else has complained" and seemed skeptical of my comment. Bear in mind, I never complain but I was in pain after two nights of no sleep and his comment irritated me. He told me that each unit was furnished in similar fashion, furniture and mattresses were purchased at the same time and that again, no one had complained before. He was not overly friendly nor patient. After a brief exchange, he did offer to move us which was appreciated but as we only had one night left, said we would stay put. He then told me that he would mention it to the owners. The third night was unbearable. I had to get up and sleep in one of the chairs, which was not conducive to a good nights rest but the leather chairs are very comfortable and I was able to doze on and off. When we got home, I did send an e-mail to the Inn explaining the situation and recommending that the mattress in that casita be replaced. My other comments to them about our stay were positive. I've waited over three weeks and no-one has responded to me which I feel is poor customer service. I do want to add that all other interactions with Entrada staff were positive with nice, friendly, helpful people and it's in a lovely location. We have to return to St. George again before year-end and again early next year. I'm not sure that we will stay here as I feel that a response was due confirming receipt of my e-mail and that the issue was being dealt with. If I was reviewing our first stay I would rate them a five with no hesitation but this time a three is all I feel deserved. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
