Talk about disappointing. I have no idea how anyone could give this place 4 or 5 stars. It's a well manicured motel. The website hurts this property as it illustrates the best parts of the property, but the actual rooms aren't even close. It is a misrepresentation that leaves you disappointed when you get to your room. Are room had a patio that was enclosed in with just straight hedges. That's what you had to look at, a hedge. The people who work the front desk are super nice and helpful. The restaurant not so much. Taking into consideration covid and restrictions in place that are not the properties fault, the restaurant is super clumsy in it's approach. Couldn't get a table to have cocktails outside and we are guests paying $450 a night and I am an elite member of their loyalty program. There were plenty of tables available even with social distancing guidelines in place. They didn't have staff to handle it I guess? I would never stay here again and would def never recommend it to anyone I know. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

On my recent stay a the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe everything went perfectly. The staff was exceptional, everyone was pleasant and eager to help, and were aware of the safety precautions that needed to be followed and made me feel very safe. The food at Morada Restaurant was delicious and the preparation was right on. The grounds are immaculately kept and was a pleasant place to just sit or stroll and enjoy. The executive staff was awesome and they made sure that everything went smoothly. I would and have recommended the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe to family and friends to stay if they ever get the chance. I have stayed at this hotel approximately 100 times over the past 35 years. I will not be back. Has gone completely downhill, like most of the other Marriott properties. Service and hospitality is nonexistent. Will avoid this brand at all costs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sorry to say that this resort has lost its charm, it’s the little things that add up to an unpleasant experience!!! AC WAS BROKEN ( 93 degrees out) they brought a fan before offering to change our room! -Cobwebs on front door and on all patio furniture! -Black hair on bathroom floor (we are blond)!! -Pool reservations are impossible, so they tell you to keep coming back every 20 minutes is case people leave or don’t show up for their reservation! - Napkins at lunch were filthy and stained! -Pool service ends at 5pm, we couldn’t get new towels and then you have to go into restaurant to order anything, including ice! -Pool area is small and outdated, there should be more than 2 cabanas, and not with outrageous fees! -Map was very confusing and there are not clear signs of room numbers at the driveways! Checked in to a room with a view of the bushes. The mini fridge was dirty dust on the mirrors in bathroom. 2 lights were out in the bathroom. Patio area looked not maintained. Dead plant in the corner. Jacuzzi not open but pool is didn't make sense. They should have posted that.We ordered food from the Morada that was disappointing definitely not worth the price. Not sure what resort fee was for. Really disappointing we were celebrating husband's 40th. Overall disappointing Marriot. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
