Worth every penny

Jan 24th, 2020

Was there for an anniversary. The decor alone makes it worth every penny. We stayed in one of the flats right on the road, which was surprising (unexpected to be right on the sidewalk) but not problematic at all. The interior was crazy-beautiful. Service was excellent. The Inn is absolutely worth the splurge. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Over the top

This is a understated luxury hotel with uncompromising standards. The surroundings are elegant with textiles, furniture, decorative tiles, and rugs from the middle east. True to its name, it appeals to our five senses. The staff is incredible. I cannot think of any area that needs improvement. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

the best of everything

The photographs don’t do justice to the beautiful rooms, textiles and courtyards and the amazing service and attention to even the smallest details to make guests feel welcome and pampered is equal to the beauty. Every single staff member is personable and well trained. Our family loved every minute of our time there - it was almost a shame to leave our suite!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

5-Star Luxury

Nov 6th, 2019

Short version: We stay at B&B's or Inns as often as possible when on vacation. The Inn of the Five Graces is among the Top 3 we have ever stayed at. Long version: What is the difference between an 90% rating and a 99% rating? Both have comfortable beds, pleasant staff, are very clean, and generally deliver what is promised. The details that elevate an inn to the level of "extraordinary" are: ** The front desk staff greeted us by name when we checked in. ** All of the staff knew it was our 50th anniversary, and warmly congratulated us. The management delivered chilled champagne to our room with a beautiful hand written note. ** The room was cleaned immaculately in the morning and again with the turn down service in the evening. The timing could not be better, as the staff seemed to know exactly when we were out, because we never saw them. ** The heating and cooling system was whisper quiet. ** The accommodation was absolutely luxurious from frette sheets and thick large towels, to the huge beautiful tiled bathroom with deep soaking tub, to arranging the kindling and logs in the fireplace so all we had to do was light it. ** Every detail in the room was perfect, and the furnishings were very comfortable and stylish. ** Complimentary snacks - including excellent brie cheese and crackers, lots of water, soft drinks, etc. ** A Halloween surprise - a high quality chocolate bar, freshly baked cookies on another night, and corn chips and dip on yet another night. ** Our rental car had a defect. Our car valet Jayson took it upon himself to research the problem. He called us within 10 minutes to confirm it was a defect, and not simply a knob or button we had overlooked. Who does that? Well above and beyond the call of duty. ** Eric, another wonderful car valet said that the staff would gladly pick up something at the store, if we needed it. ** The entire valet staff brought the car around within 3 minutes every time we called for it - and had the heater on, so it would be comfortable. ** Barbara gave us a wonderful tour of the spa. She took such pride in the recent renovation. One of the nicest spas I've ever seen. One couples' massage room even has its own private steam room. After we returned to the room, I called down to purchase some lotion. Barbara had it immediately sent to the front desk, and it was delivered to our room while we were at dinner. ** The breakfast was made-to-order, with a selection of at least 10 items - all excellent. The entire breakfast staff satisfied every dietary restriction and request for substitutions. For example, from day 1, they had coconut milk for my coffee every morning. It's an item I am sure they did not ordinarily stock. ** The genuine desire on the part of every staff member to not just satisfy a request, but to exceed every expectation. ** The Inn is very convenient - just a 10-minute walk to many restaurants, the main town plaza, and not much further from popular museums. We highly recommend the Inn of the Five Graces. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A special place to stay in Santa Fe

Oct 30th, 2019

This is not a hotel with typical "Santa Fe style". The walls aren't all beige stucco with southwestie prints. This is a 5 star hotel and it offers 5 star service. It's a very small property. Our room was somewhat reminiscent of Morocco. There was lots of mosaic tile in the bathroom and colorful rugs on all of the wood floors. There was lots of color. It might not be for everyone. Someone looking for 5 Star reserved accommodations might be happy elsewhere. We loved the unusual nature and the personal service. They had a special note for my husbands birthday waiting in the room as well as a bottle of champagne. The small fridge was stocked with some snacks and lots of water and juices. Breakfast was great!
