Be aware of hidden and surprise charges after you check out.
Oct 22nd, 2020
The hotel is close to downtown Boston and attractions. That's about the only positive thing I can recommend. Be aware of the hidden and surprise fees that they charge to your credit card after checking out. I booked a two nights stay from Priceline.com and paid the full charge which include substantial tax and fees. Upon checkout, they charged my credit card $50 + tax for Destination Fees, which has nothing to do with additional services. What a devious practice. Very disappointed. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Hold on Account - 1 week - $595.00
Oct 15th, 2020
Bad experience. You can not park when you arrive, too much congestion and have to wait 15-30 minutes before a valet can provide any instructions or take your car. What was worse, we paid $400 for 2 nights and the hotel put a hold on our account for $595. A week later, the hold is still in place. When we call to ask how long the hold will remain or why it was a large amount, they say due to COVID, they can not answer our question - people are unavailable to provide answers. COVID? Call Centers working from home! Should not be a problem. I am a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member. I have great experiences with Marriott hotels. This was NOT a Marriott experience. Marriott Bonvoy members - stay clear of this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beautiful And Convenient

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Easy drive or uber ride to mostly anywhere in Boston. Hotel room was sanitized and sealed prior to arrival. No room cleaning or in-room dining due to COVID, which is understandable. We were actually going to request no room cleaning for the 4 nights we stayed. Just requested fresh towels as needed. Masks were required everywhere in the hotel with the exception of the restaurant, or the lobby if you were eating. Elevators were limited to 2 people at a time, but they were quick. We stayed on the 9th floor and never had a problem getting up or down. Ate at CLINK one night for dinner, and one morning for brunch. Food was excellent. Only 2 cons: 1 - $65/night for overnight parking is VERY steep. I live in NYC, and overnight parking in a garage doesn't even cost that much. 2 - For some reason, the pillows easily flatten. Had to fold the pillows in order to be comfortable. Overall, very good stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Loved our stay so much we extended it by an extra night. The hotel staff is very friendly with the exception of the Philippine lady at works the front desk. She was very condescending when I asked for a copy of my bill. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
One night stay

I picked this hotel from the Bonvoy app because I missed my flight on Friday evening. What a mistake!! I understand that businesses are desperate for revenue, but this was ridiculous. Dining has expanded all over the lobby so there were many groups, indoors with no masks on. Young women taking selfies with no masks like it was any old Friday night. I did not feel safe at all and I’m sure patrons are infecting the hotel workers at a minimum. My room was also subpar as the remote for the television wasn’t working. All in all, disappointing experience. I’m not sure I’ll go back to Marriott if this is how they handle business. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
