Room was shabby, and don't be decieved by the photo of the pool on their website.

I stayed at Eagle Crest Resort Aug. 28th thru 30th 2020. First, DON'T be deceived by the pool photo on their website...it is NOT at the Lodge\Resort, but part of the Lake SIde Sports Center some 3 miles away. I rented a one bedroom suite facing golf course. The room was shabby. The couch had patched material where the couch was either worn or torn off. The little coffee table was cheap and badly marked up, and the chair looked dirty. I booked for 3 people, we had one little chair on the balcony for sitting. The grounds were littered with debris, where it looked like the lawn mower went by and shredded whatever garbage people had thrown in the small row of shrubs outside our window. I was disappointed during the two night stay. Only highlight was getting away from the room to hike Smith Rock and visit the Cline Water Falls. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
An unexpected discovery

During this COVID-19 Pandemic, staying at a public lodging was daunting. The lodge provided an outstanding experience where we felt they we doing all possibly to provide a safe and enjoyable experience. The staff was friendly and attentive and always made us feel welcome. Even the limited food offering were great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A great place for our dog!

I Requested early check in because we knew my husband would be gone all day. Got there at noon. Didn’t have room ready until 4pm. It seemed like they could have speeded it up but I enjoyed the Grounds & tables with my dog. Glad I had a good book for all the waiting., We got a lodge 1 BR suite facing the golf course. There was a hedge blocking the view but we had a patio with small table & chairs & grass. Perfect for our dog. Kitchen was nice but could have used a towel or paper towels & dish soap.. The unit was really lovely. We were Very pleased with decor & setting. To me, it seemed pricey for staying there such a short time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Avoid this place

We’ve been staying Eaglecrest for more than 20 years. It used to be one of our favorite places. We stayed at the lodge and were shocked to see how much it has deteriorated. The furniture is uncomfortable, the shower dripped, there’s a broken lamp in the living room, the microwave is broken and I even found a mouse dropping on the nightstand when I woke up. I spoke to the night manager and asked about cleaning the rooms. If you have anything done in your room, The guest has to exit for three hours before staff comes in to do maintenance or cleaning. What’s ironic is it they don’t sanitize the rooms between guests. They only let the rooms rest for a couple of hours before the next occupant comes in. So they’re more concerned about their staff than they are the guests. Hopefully with this pandemic we didn’t make a mistake by staying here. It’s obvious that the resort is more concerned about money than their customer safety. We will never go back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If this is the only place available to stay in the area then it will do. There are better resorts for the same price. This places needs to be renovated. The pros are the rooms are clean, and food is inexpensive. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
