Beautiful, friendly!

Apr 16th, 2019

Rooms were very large for a hotel room. Staff was very nice and accommodating even when we arrived there around midnight. It was worth the upgrade for the breakfast, which was at max and Irma's. Will definitely stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pillow Wars!

Mar 22nd, 2019

There is a trend in these botique hotels to go hypoallergenic by eliminating all the feather pillows. The only problem is, the pillows they put in the room are fat and stiff and cause more damage to your neck than any allergin would cause to your sinuses. They also will not offer a feather pillow for you because they don't want any contaminants in the room so when you call down to the front desk for one you will be denied. Make no mistake, This is only about money! Foam pillows are much cheaper than feather pillows thats why they are doing this. They truely do not care about you. That ruined what could have been a nice stay for me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst Hotel Experience

Feb 20th, 2019

I thought I was being booked in the Crowne Plaza Hotel.. turns out I was placed in the Lofts hotel across the street that seems to be being used as "overflow" while the actual Crowne Plaza is under construction.. I'm really not sure, but the front desk guy said I'd be staying across the street due to construction. With that being said, when I arrived I checked into the CP and was given direction to go across the street to get to my room. Once I arrived to the Lofts side, there was no one working the front desk and no security. To get to my room I had to maze through old tiny hallways. The room itself is large, but is very cold and noisy. It is just an old musty renovated studio loft apartment. The bathroom was clean and that is really the only thing I found to be acceptable. The room smelled extremely musty, dirty carpet, no remote for the TV, bed had hair in it. There was no view - just a parking garage about 12 feet away from the window. I called to get a new room or at the very least have sheets replaced. I was told housekeeping would be up immediately.. after waiting 45 minutes and calling again, housekeeping never showed up. Thankfully, I was traveling on business and able to book a different hotel. I checked out asap and went down the street to the Hilton, which was thankfully much cleaner and did not have a horrible odor. I'm really not sure what the whole deal is with the Crowne Plaza and these converted Lofts, but I know I will never be staying here again and will not recommend this location to anyone else. It could be a neat "boutique" hotel if ran properly and updated, but for what it is now --- NOT worth the money. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice big city loft feel

Dec 16th, 2018

This hotel is located next to the Crowne Plaza. They have a shared driveway (not a two way road like other reviews mentioned) You have to check in at their front desk - this is noted on the outside of the building. The building feels like a big city apartment. Our room was large with 2 beds, wardrobe, desk and a seating area with coach. The beds are nice. Large bathroom. The building is being renovated. Note the rooms have coolers not refrigerators - no big deal for us. The only real negative was the lack of blackout shades on the windows. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Hotel

I really liked this hotel. Its part of the IHG property. They took an old building and renovated it. The pictures on the website are real. You have to check in at the Crown Plaza 50 feet away. Very nice hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
